The Regional HR Manager (UK) will lead HR governance and operational excellence within the UK region, ensuring compliance with employment law and alignment with global people strategies. This role partners closely with Global HRBPs, senior leaders, and functional HR teams to deliver initiatives that enhance organisational effectiveness, support change and transformation, and foster an inclusive culture.

Key Responsibilities: 

Regional Expertise & Compliance

  • Act as a regional Subject Matter Expert (SME) for UK employment law, regulatory compliance, and HR best practice.
  • Review, develop, and implement HR policies and procedures, ensuring legal compliance and alignment with global standards.
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex HR issues within the region.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Liaise with Talent Acquisition, Talent & Organisational Development, Reward, HR Data & Technology, and Global HRBPs to support UK-specific matters.
  • Build strong relationships with senior leaders and managers to enable effective HR solutions and initiatives.
  • Support people aspects of M&A activity, ensuring smooth integration and compliance.

Strategic & Operational Delivery

  • Facilitate organisational change and culture transformation initiatives within the region.
  • Align regional HR practices with business strategy and global people priorities.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers on HR issues, ensuring fair and consistent approaches.
  • Support organisational development initiatives such as job architecture and succession planning (e.g., 9-box grid).
  • Utilise HR analytics to inform data-driven decisions and continuous improvement.

Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Champion a vibrant, inclusive culture aligned with Klipboard’s company values.
  • Act as the point of escalation for employee relations, engagement, policy, and global mobility where a People Relations Partner is unavailable.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Recognised HR qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Strong up-to-date knowledge of employment law and HR best practice within your region.
  • Proven experience of working within an HR or HR-related role, ideally in a regional or multi-site environment.
  • Experience in delivering HR initiatives and change projects, including organisational transformation.
  • Ability to align regional HR practices with broader business objectives and contribute to strategic goals.
  • Ability to influence and build credibility with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix structure and collaborate across regions.
  • Skilled in resolving complex HR issues and mitigating risk.
  • Able to use data and insights to inform advice and decisions.
  • Strong interpersonal and engagement skills, with excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Champions inclusivity and fosters a culture of belonging.
  • Demonstrates discretion and adherence to ethical standards.
