About The Role

The Regional Estimating Manager owns how Volta prices what it builds. You will set the estimating standards and benchmarks behind every project baseline, giving the business cost certainty early – when it matters most.

Working closely with front-end planning, procurement and the wider controls function, you will build should-cost models for major packages, benchmark across the fleet, and make Volta a sharper buyer with every project.

 
What You Will Be Doing
  • Own estimating standards, methods and tools across the Volta fleet

  • Produce and assure estimates through feasibility, front-end planning and baselining

  • Build should-cost models for major packages and critical equipment

  • Develop cost benchmarks across projects, regions and delivery models

  • Support procurement negotiations with independent cost intelligence

  • Reconcile estimates against outturn cost and sharpen the models each cycle

  • Coach project teams on estimating practice and assumptions

  • Feed estimating insight into design and delivery strategy decisions

 
What You Bring
  • Estimating experience on data center or major capital projects is essential

  • A record producing estimates across early and detailed project stages

  • Strong knowledge of MEP-heavy construction cost drivers

  • Experience building benchmarks and should-cost models

  • Commercial acumen and confidence supporting negotiations

  • Comfort working across European and US projects and time zones
