Own the London office’s daily operations, including suppliers, facilities, budgets, purchasing, inventory, onboarding logistics, events, hospitality, and visitor experience. Handle confidential information with discretion and maintain a high-quality workplace environment in a fast-growing company.

Handle day-to-day accounting across multiple entities, including supplier invoices, employee expenses, payment runs, journals, reconciliations, VAT compliance, fixed assets, month-end close, audit support, and ERP migration. The role works closely with senior finance leaders and offers broad exposure to multi-currency banking, intercompany accounting, and equity accounting in a rapidly scaling international company.

Build and manage Volta’s external reporting process for its planned public listing. Prepare US GAAP consolidated financial statements and footnotes, draft SEC-standard disclosures, manage disclosure checklists and reporting calendars, oversee tie-outs, consolidation and FX translation under ASC 830, coordinate audits, prepare UK statutory bridges, and implement disclosure management and XBRL-readiness processes.

Own statutory financial reporting across Volta’s entities in the UK, US, Norway, Luxembourg, and Spain. Responsibilities include preparing and filing statutory accounts, managing external audits, maintaining GAAP/IFRS compliance, overseeing reporting calendars and deadlines, coordinating local advisors and finance teams, maintaining technical accounting positions, standardizing processes, and supporting financing, M&A, and ERP implementation activities.

Supports SOX and internal controls programs by designing processes, documenting process maps and control matrices, performing management control testing, tracking remediation, and maintaining testing and design logs. The role coordinates with process owners, ITGC teams, department heads, and finance leaders; prepares Audit Committee updates; provides SOX training and guidance; and recommends practical remediation actions compliant with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.

Execute and maintain ISO 27001 and SOC 2 compliance programs, operate Vanta, collect audit evidence, support audits, assess risks and vendors, manage security obligations, maintain regulatory documentation, and translate controls into engineering work. The role also supports customer security reviews, physical security, incident compliance, awareness training, business continuity, and disaster recovery evidence.

Owns Volta’s enterprise contracting strategy across data center and major capital projects. Establishes standard contract forms, flow-downs, commercial terms, governance, approvals, and compliance across jurisdictions. Leads major negotiations, claims avoidance, and disputes while providing functional leadership to project-embedded contracts teams. The role also develops commercial capability across the delivery organization and requires travel across project sites.

Legal Counsel will draft, review, and negotiate commercial, procurement, vendor, customer, construction, financing, and partnership agreements. The role advises stakeholders on contractual risk, supports data center delivery and procurement, assists with corporate structuring and governance, maintains legal templates and workflows, tracks obligations, supports transaction due diligence, and advises on regulatory matters.

Support FP&A through financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, variance analysis, KPI tracking, capital expenditure monitoring, investor and Board materials, strategic analysis, reporting process improvements, and month-end close activities. Partner with Project Controls, Operations, and Accounting to ensure accurate financial data and provide leadership with timely insights.

Conduct KYC and KYB due diligence on customers, partners, and vendors; screen for sanctions, PEPs, and adverse media; maintain compliance records; support periodic reviews, reporting, audits, and process documentation. Provide Finance team administrative support, respond to documentation inquiries, manage sensitive information, and escalate potential risks or unusual findings.

Support monthly close, journal entries, reconciliations, transactional processing, financial reporting, variance analysis, controls, fixed asset accounting, audits, tax compliance, and ERP optimization. The role contributes to building scalable accounting processes across multiple jurisdictions and prepares U.S. GAAP and applicable IFRS financial statements. It also maintains the general ledger, supports intercompany accounting, and partners with FP&A and other teams in a high-growth infrastructure business.

Build and operate production-grade platform capabilities for large-scale GPU infrastructure. Design Kubernetes operators and controllers, develop APIs, manage compute, storage, networking, and confidential-computing services, and improve observability and security. Engineers own their services in production, participate in on-call and incident response, collaborate across product and infrastructure teams, and maintain reliable interfaces, testing, versioning, and CI/CD practices.

Lead and grow Volta’s EMEA Platform Engineering organization, serving as deputy to the VP of Platform Engineering. Own regional team structure, hiring, delivery, architecture, reliability, incident response, and alignment between platform software, GPU hardware, networking fabric, and physical sites. The role requires hands-on technical leadership, cloud infrastructure expertise, organizational change management, customer credibility, and collaboration across distributed US and European engineering teams.

Owns Volta’s contracting strategy for data center and major capital projects across Europe. Establishes contract forms, flow-downs, commercial standards, and governance; leads negotiations, claims avoidance, and disputes; provides functional leadership to project contracts teams; ensures compliance across jurisdictions; and develops commercial capabilities across the delivery organization.

Leads deployment, operation, reliability, security, and continuous improvement of IT infrastructure across EMEA AI data centres. Oversees compute, storage, networking, capacity planning, incident and change management, disaster recovery, automation, vendor performance, budgets, compliance, and operational standards. Manages infrastructure site teams and cross-functional stakeholders while driving high availability, resilience, cost efficiency, and service quality across geographically distributed environments.
