Produce and assure estimates from feasibility through baselining, build should-cost models and benchmarks, support procurement negotiations, reconcile estimates with outturn costs, coach project teams, and inform design and delivery strategies. Owns Volta’s safety strategy, standards, and management system across construction projects. Leads embedded safety professionals, establishes contractor safety requirements, conducts audits and assurance programs, investigates incidents, develops risk-leading reports, ensures regulatory compliance across European jurisdictions, and integrates safety into project design reviews. The role requires safety leadership across data center or mission-critical construction programs, contractor management expertise, and regular travel across European sites.

Owns Volta’s enterprise contracting strategy across data center and major capital projects. Establishes standard contract forms, flow-downs, commercial terms, governance, approvals, and compliance across jurisdictions. Leads major negotiations, claims avoidance, and disputes while providing functional leadership to project-embedded contracts teams. The role also develops commercial capability across the delivery organization and requires travel across project sites.

Own end-to-end accounting and financial control for large capital projects, including capex, CIP, equipment, accruals, commitments, cost structures, forecasting, variance analysis, and month-end close. Partner with project, engineering, procurement, and FP&A teams throughout the project lifecycle. Support US GAAP policy application, SOX controls, audits, reporting, systems implementation, and project closeout.

Lead tax structuring and transaction work for fundraising, infrastructure investments, acquisitions, joint ventures, and financing. Build and stress-test tax models, assess international tax implications, coordinate due diligence and advisers, support governance and audits, and translate tax impacts into cash flow, valuation, and investor-return analyses. Partner with Finance, Legal, Capital Markets, and Corporate Development while helping scale tax processes and mentoring junior team members.

Leads Volta’s global total rewards strategy across compensation, equity, benefits, salary bands, benchmarking, annual review cycles, incentives, and pay equity. The role partners with Finance, Talent Acquisition, executives, insurers, and brokers to build scalable reward programs across North America and Europe, ensure legal compliance, manage benefits administration, and support international growth.

Own short-range cash forecasting, P&L reforecasts, variance analysis, burn and runway reporting, and accounting-grounded financial modeling across a multi-entity, multi-currency group. Build three-statement models tied to the general ledger and US GAAP positions, model infrastructure financing and capital transactions, establish FP&A processes and controls, and support the NetSuite implementation.

Legal Counsel will draft, review, and negotiate commercial, procurement, vendor, customer, construction, financing, and partnership agreements. The role advises stakeholders on contractual risk, supports data center delivery and procurement, assists with corporate structuring and governance, maintains legal templates and workflows, tracks obligations, supports transaction due diligence, and advises on regulatory matters.

Support FP&A through financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, variance analysis, KPI tracking, capital expenditure monitoring, investor and Board materials, strategic analysis, reporting process improvements, and month-end close activities. Partner with Project Controls, Operations, and Accounting to ensure accurate financial data and provide leadership with timely insights.

Conduct KYC and KYB due diligence on customers, partners, and vendors; screen for sanctions, PEPs, and adverse media; maintain compliance records; support periodic reviews, reporting, audits, and process documentation. It also maintains the general ledger, supports intercompany accounting, and partners with FP&A and other teams in a high-growth infrastructure business.

Build and operate production-grade platform capabilities for large-scale GPU infrastructure. Design Kubernetes operators and controllers, develop APIs, manage compute, storage, networking, and confidential-computing services, and improve observability and security. Engineers own their services in production, participate in on-call and incident response, collaborate across product and infrastructure teams, and maintain reliable interfaces, testing, versioning, and CI/CD practices.

Manage end-to-end People Operations for a growing international workforce, including hiring, onboarding, employee changes, leave, payroll administration, immigration, compliance, data privacy, and offboarding. Administer Deel and coordinate data across Ashby, Carta, payroll, and other systems. Serve as a key employee and manager contact, maintain accurate documentation and reporting, and improve processes through standardization, automation, controls, and scalable operating procedures.

Lead and grow Volta’s EMEA Platform Engineering organization, serving as deputy to the VP of Platform Engineering. Own regional team structure, hiring, delivery, architecture, reliability, incident response, and alignment between platform software, GPU hardware, networking fabric, and physical sites. The role requires hands-on technical leadership, cloud infrastructure expertise, organizational change management, customer credibility, and collaboration across distributed US and European engineering teams.

Owns Volta’s contracting strategy for data center and major capital projects across Europe. The role researches complex transactions, drafts audit-ready technical memos, reviews contracts, advises deal teams, leads external auditor discussions, monitors accounting and SEC developments, supports US-to-UK GAAP bridges, contributes to IPO disclosures, and develops technical accounting capability across the finance team.
