RECRUITMENT COORDINATOR

London (Hybrid) | Part-time, 3 days per week | Fixed-term or Contractor

Up to £21,000 per annum (pro-rated for 3 days/week; up to £35,000 FTE), or c. £150–£200/day as a contractor


This role provides end-to-end support for E3G's recruitment activity, acting as the central point of contact for managing our full recruitment cycle and helping to attract top talent to the organisation. The postholder will work across all our office locations — London, Brussels, Berlin and Washington — as well as with colleagues across Asia.

E3G has offices in London, Brussels, Berlin, Washington and Ireland.

This role has arisen due to a surge in recruitment activity following the launch of our new strategy.


Key Responsibilities

Providing support to line managers in attracting and evaluating candidates. This includes:

  • Advising line managers on recruitment policies and best practice
  • Working with managers to understand job requirements and objectives
  • Assisting managers with writing job adverts and job descriptions
  • Advertising roles on job platforms and social media, evaluating responses and carrying out first-stage sifting via our ATS platform, BambooHR
  • Setting up interviews and liaising with candidates, including making offers to successful candidates
  • Helping hiring managers to prepare interview questions and storing these on our system to ensure best practice
  • Attending some interviews as required
  • In the London office, managing new starter paperwork together with the HR Advisor, including references, right to work checks and other onboarding documentation
  • Setting up inductions for new starters
  • Analysing recruitment data and methods, such as time-to-hire, to reduce recruitment time and identify the most effective sourcing tools
  • Ensuring that our employer brand is well represented in the marketplace
  • Headhunting via LinkedIn to build a pipeline of talent and candidates
  • Staying up to date with current recruitment methods
  • Periodically assessing the effectiveness of recruitment activities to support continuous process improvement and data-driven decision-making


Experience and Skills

  • Proven track record as a recruiter
  • In-depth knowledge of recruitment processes and best practice
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, HR databases/applicant tracking systems and advertising platforms/social media

What We Offer

  • 3-month fixed-term, part-time contract (3 days per week), or the option to work as a contractor on a daily rate
  • Flexible working arrangements and a hybrid working approach
  • A reward and benefits package that compares well with other organisations in our sector. The salary for this position, based in London, is up to £21,000 per annum (pro-rated for 3 days per week, equivalent to up to £35,000 full-time), dependent on the experience and qualifications of the successful candidate.
  • For candidates applying as a contractor, we anticipate a daily rate of approximately £150–£200 per day, depending on experience.
