We have an exciting opportunity for a Recruitment Coordinator to join our in-house Resourcing team on a 12-month fixed term contract coving maternity leave. This is a varied and rewarding role at the heart of our recruitment function, supporting the attraction and onboarding of talent across the business.

We're looking for an organised and proactive individual with excellent attention to detail and a strong customer-service mindset. Previous recruitment experience would be beneficial, but more importantly, you'll demonstrate a positive attitude, a commitment to accuracy, and the ability to build effective working relationships as part of a collaborative team.

What you'll be doing

As a Recruitment Coordinator, you'll play a key role in providing efficient and professional administrative support throughout the recruitment lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the in-house recruiters with a wide range of recruitment administration activities, including processing applications, arranging interviews, processing offers, and coordinating candidate feedback.

  • Lead on high-volume recruitment for manufacturing roles and other areas of the business to meet changing business needs.

  • Managing candidate records and recruitment activity through our Applicant Tracking System (Workday).

  • Overseeing pre-employment check processes: Right to Work checks, DBS check, and referencing in line with company processes and legislation.

  • Coordinating weekly inductions (compliance checks, preparing induction material, and delivering induction presentations)

  • Responding to telephone and email enquiries from candidates, hiring managers, and external contacts.

  • Overseeing Early Careers recruitment lifecycle for graduates, placements, and apprenticeships.

  • Reviewing Early Careers job descriptions and recruitment marketing material and assist with yearly forecasting numbers.

  • Being a point of contact for all early careers recruitment related enquiries (both internal and external).

  • Organising and hosting both in-person and online recruitment open evenings/webinars.

  • Organising and hosting in-person assessment centres.

  • Coordinating welcome days in the summer for the incoming cohort.

  • Coordinating the delivery of PPE and IT equipment to incoming cohort.

  • Providing general administrative support to the wider resourcing and HR teams.

  • Supporting a variety of HR & recruitment projects and activities as required.

What we're looking for

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

  • A minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C/4 or above, including English and Maths.

  • Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within recruitment, HR, or a customer-focused environment.

  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work accurately under pressure.

  • The confidence to use initiative and solve problems appropriately.

  • A professional and discreet approach, with an understanding of the importance of handling confidential information.

  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

  • A flexible, team-oriented approach, alongside the ability to work independently when required.

  • Previous recruitment experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
