Job Description

Portico is delighted to offer an exceptional opportunity for a polished, proactive, and service driven Corporate Receptionist to join our team at the stunning offices of a prestigious private investment firm in Marble Arch.

As the face of the organisation, you will deliver a warm, professional, and seamless welcome to all staff, clients, and visitors. You will act as a true brand ambassador, ensuring every interaction reflects the firm’s high standards and commitment to excellence.

This is a dynamic, multi floor front of house operation where no two days are the same. You’ll work closely with a fantastic team of four Receptionists, a supervisor, and a reception manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide an exceptional welcome to all visitors and staff, ensuring a professional and personable experience.
  • Oversee reception operations across three client-facing floors, supporting 15 meeting rooms in total.
  • Manage check-ins and bookings using the Condeco system.
  • Greet guests on the 6th and 7th floors and direct them to their allocated meeting rooms.
  • Support the events hub on Level 4 for internal and external events.
  • Answer and direct phone calls and emails promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain a tidy, organised, and polished reception environment.
  • Manage meeting room bookings and appointment scheduling.
  • Assist with administrative tasks as required.
  • Book taxis and transport when needed.
  • Handle access card requests and visitor passes.
  • Run daily operational reports and support wider facilities coordination.

Hours: 40 hours per week. Rotating shifts between 8am-7pm, with the flexibility to work slightly earlier/later shifts from time to time.
Salary: £35,831 per annum

Qualifications

We need: 

  • A confident communicator who can build rapport quickly and professionally at all levels.
  • Experience in a corporate client services or high-end front-of-house environment (preferred).
  • Previous receptionist or administrative experience.
  • Experience using a room booking system (Condeco preferred).
  • Strong IT skills, including MS Office and video conferencing setup.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise, and remain calm under pressure.
  • Immaculate presentation and a genuine, friendly, and positive personality.
  • A proactive mindset with strong attention to detail.
  • A team player who thrives in a collaborative, high-performing environment.
