Portico is looking for a confident, polished Corporate Receptionist to become the face of a flagship building in the heart of the city. This is a high visibility, stand alone role where you’ll set the tone for every visitor and occupier who walks through the door.
What you’ll do
- Deliver an exceptional welcome and memorable farewell, every time
- Build strong, lasting relationships with occupiers and become their trusted go to contact
- Partner with building management and service teams to create a seamless visitor journey
- Maintain expert knowledge of building operations and contribute fresh ideas to elevate the experience
- Stay one step ahead by handling multiple tasks with confidence and initiative
Your impact
Engage – Own the reception space, uphold impeccable standards, and support occupiers with charm, professionalism and genuine warmth.
Evolve – Be fully trained and confident in emergency procedures, champion sustainability, and ensure all HSE processes are followed.
Enrich – Manage helpdesk activity, support building management with admin tasks, and embrace opportunities for personal development.
Excite – Bring the building community to life through events, communications and proactive support for occupiers’ needs.
Hours: 45 hrs per week, shifts from 8am-6pm, Mon-Fri
Salary: £35,000

Skills & Experience
- Highly personable, professional and emotionally intelligent
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively
- Confident using Microsoft Office and producing accurate documentation
- Able to build lasting relationships and deliver service that truly stands out
- SIA, CCTV, First Aid or Fire Marshal training beneficial (or willingness to obtain)
