The Role:

As a Quality Compliance Coordinator with us, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality services within GenesisCare UK. You are responsible for coordinating and implementing quality improvements initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and promoting a culture of patient safety and continuous quality improvement. What You'll Do:

  • Regularly assess compliance with quality policies and procedures by managing clinical audits, being a part of the mock inspection team, and performing reviews.
  • Develop maintain and ensure compliance with quality governance frameworks to enhance and support quality management across GenesisCare.
  • Support in governance administration for both the quality team and the director of clinical services collecting reports and completing minutes for key meetings in the organisation.
  • Provide support as needed for ad-hoc local business-critical project based activities (in agreement with direct line manager)
  • Maintains document control system to ensure all organisational documents are uniquely identified, numbered, reviewed, approved, issued, stored, and retained according to ISO 9001 requirements.
  • Ensures documents are accessible to authorized personnel and adequately protected from loss, improper use, or unauthorised access.
  • Conducts periodic audits of documentation to verify compliance with ISO 9001 standards and internal document control procedures.
  • Trains employees on ISO 9001 documentation requirements and provides guidance to staff on proper document creation, revision, approval, distribution, usage, storage, and retention per quality procedures.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators to measure and manage the effectiveness of quality governance initiatives. Prepare regular reports and manage quality dashboard for quality governance projects.
  • Manage and oversee compliance with the complaints policy and ensuring that all processes and procedures are followed, and quality maintained.
  • Identify and manage risk associated with quality management processes. Develop and support risk mitigation strategies to continuously improve quality.
  • Identify opportunities for enhancing quality governance frameworks and procedures. Lead and participate in quality improvement projects to drive efficiency, effectiveness and improve quality.

What You'll Have:

Experience and skills:

  • Proven project management/ quality improvement skills/ portfolio maintenance skills
  • Experience working in the healthcare and quality environments.
  • Experience or working knowledge of CQC and ISO standards or similar
  • Personal integrity and initiative enabling applicant to organise workload.

Qualifications and Knowledge:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
  • Evidence of continuing professional development in relevant areas
  • Other requirements for this role:
  • Flexibility in working practices, responsive to change; ability to work unsocial hours if required.
  • Willingness to travel across GenesisCare sites
