What will you be doing?

Quality Assurance Specialist
Location: Dorking or Basingstoke (2 days a week in office)

What will you bring?

We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to conduct themed reviews and provide quality assurance to the dental operations team at Unum. It is essential to have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to provide effective feedback to front line colleagues to promote good customer outcomes. 

In this role you will:

  • Deliver appropriate assurance activities including evaluation and analysis of work processed, ensuring consistency in the application of processes and adherence to compliance and regulatory standards.
  • Keep up to date with business area process and procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, working collaboratively across the business areas.
  • Assist in providing identification of training needs, process improvements and assist in communicating trends and observations to the appropriate areas.
  • Proactively challenge and drive change with peers, stakeholders and senior leaders to support continuous improvement, putting the customer at the heart of what we do.
  • Prioritise work activities to ensure work is progressed to meet service level agreements.
  • Have a strong understanding of what ‘Good Customer Outcomes’ look like.
  • Be able to recognise improvements in the way we do things.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in financial services, insurance, or within a regulated environment and have a good understanding of the regulatory landscape.
