Sompo has a unique opportunity for a Quality Assurance Analyst in our Operations team for a period of 12 months.
The Operations team supports business processing, liaising with other functions to ensure efficiency & effectiveness across a broad array of activities from policy specific transaction support to change management and on-boarding.

What you’ll be doing:
• Quality assurance of full end to end process
• Creating Process Documentation (SOPs) including but not limited to process maps/flows
• Supporting key processes undertaken by Underwriting Assistants (UAs)
• Oversee department operations such as new submissions, policy endorsements, renewal processing etc
• Steward the daily underwriting "housekeeping" activities
• Close collaboration with our strategic outsourcing partner
• Provide support to Data Management ensuring that Underwriting Guidelines are adhered to and underwriting controls are performed
• Data Quality standards support
• PowerBI suite of reports assistance for development and ongoing support
• Workflow system updates and changes, Help with testing and UAT
What you'll bring:
• Relevant London Market Insurance experience (Underwriting Assistance or Operations)
• Adept at problem solving and identifying practical solutions, while communicating clearly and in a transparent manner throughout the process
• Must be able to prioritize and organise a very demanding workload
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Computer skills including the core MS Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Due to the demands of the business, candidates must have the ability to take initiative, work well under pressure and with others, and be committed to meeting deadlines, in a fast paced and dynamic environment
