An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality Assurance Advisor to join the Quality Assurance Team on a permanent basis in our Darlington office. We support hybrid and flexible working for this role, there will be a mix of office and remote working.

The role

To core purpose of the role is to monitor and report on administration quality across the Benefits Business Unit and identify areas for improvement in accordance with the Quality Assurance Plan. To support with preparation for the ISO9001 audit.

The person

We are looking for someone to undertake quality reviews in accordance with the quality plan and framework. The ideal candidate will have excellent Microsoft Office skills and also have experience in evaluating data. The ideal candidate will be expected to provide recommendations to improve ways of working and will track and review these actions to ensure that they are followed through and improvements are achieved. Knowledge and experience of a regulated environment, ISO9001 and master trust pension schemes is advantageous but is not essential.

The incumbent will be a confident collaborator, keen to share their knowledge with, and learn from, colleagues and to support wider teams across the business. Building solid relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels is also key to being successful in the role. We are looking for an individual who has passion for continuous improvement, has good understanding of systems, processes and controls and is analytical in their approach. You will be solution focused person because we will need you to bring ideas and recommendations to the areas that require it. The successful candidate will demonstrate resilience and will also take ownership and accountability of their work, managing delivery expectations and balancing priorities.
