The Qualified Audit & Accounts Senior will manage audits and tax assignments, lead teams, liaise with clients, and ensure compliance, deadlines, and staff development.
Primary Purpose of Role
The Qualified Audit & Accounts Senior will work directly with Managers, Partners and clients on a range of audit engagements, supplemented with accounts and corporation tax assignments.
Key Duties:
- Taking the lead on large company, groups and SME audits, including managing the audit team and being primary contact for clients.
- Attending client sites as required for audit engagements, planning and completion meetings.
- Preparation of accounts and corporation tax computations, direct to managers or partners.
- Liaising with clients, colleagues and third parties developing these relationships
- Ensuring all deadlines are met, compliance is adhered to, and clients are kept informed.
- Supervise and develop trainees as well as support junior members of the team.
- To provide career development mentor responsibilities to junior members of the team e.g., graduate students to assist in all round development.
- Attending networking and business development opportunities.
- Encourage equality and diversity amongst teams.
