As part of our successful European Sales team, you will be responsible for selling QNX products, services and solutions to medical, industrial and robotics accounts predominantly located in the UK or Northern Germany as well as France, ensuring target sales achievement and total customer satisfaction. In this role, you will:

  • Sell QNX software solutions to a specified region within EMEA and EMEA wide key customers, identifying new accounts and developing new opportunities in existing accounts.
  • Build and maintain positive customer relationships, handling expectations and ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Working with the sales team, comprised of an assigned Field Application Engineer, Customer Success Representative and Business Development to analyse customer requirements, deliver product and services against customer needs and lead the sales cycle through to revenue recognition.
  • Coordinating all elements of QNX Software Systems functional departments to penetrate the customers in important markets like medical, industrial, rail and similar embedded markets and deliver on commitments made to these prospects/customers. This includes assisting in defining strategic marketing initiatives, liaising with R&D to communicate customer technical requirements and ensuring support commitments are fulfilled to deliver customer satisfaction.
  • Provide regular forecasting and reporting including managing the accuracy of the forecast pipeline, lead management, and being the voice of the customer within QNX.
  • Travel frequently within your territory (up to 50%)

You will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business, or equivalent relevant experience in the embedded market
  • A track record of consistent sales quota achievement & ideally over-achievement
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Confident and influential communication skills
  • Knowledge of the real-time embedded software market, within the general embedded domain as well as domain specific knowledge in either the medical, industrial automation or defense domains
  • Experience in consultative software selling
  • Experience negotiating, running and closing major accounts, with accurate forecasting and CRM hygiene abilities
  • The ability to conduct business in English or German and French.
