The Technologist's position at Lonza AG is an outstanding chance to be part of a top-notch team contributing to innovative scientific projects. You will generate and detail laboratory data, progressively taking ownership of the laboratory environment as your experience and seniority grow. This position is based in Slough, UK, a hub for ambitious scientific endeavours.

This is a perfect opportunity for a recent graduate with some knowledge of GMP to join a growing team!

Key responsibilities:

  • Plan and complete assigned tasks within the required timeframe.

  • Collate data, review routine work and contribute to the population of data tables.

  • Participate in troubleshooting and out-of-specification investigations as required.

  • Perform laboratory/method housekeeping, routine instrument maintenance, and reagent/consumable stock checks.

  • Understand and align with company policies and departmental practices, regulatory and statutory requirements.

To perform experimental work with supervision

Key requirements:

  • BSc degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Biopharmaceutical, Chemistry, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • Knowledge and experience with laboratory methods.

  • Good numerical skills and a basic awareness of statistics.
