  • Understanding of the conventions of, and developments in, scholarly publishing
  • Proven ability to make and take ownership of data-driven decisions
  • Experience using the Web of Science

  • Evaluate journals in line with the Web of Science selection criteria and make decisions in consultation with manager
  • Investigate, resolve, and reply to enquiries from publishers regarding coverage and selection criteria
  • Own coverage-related decisions and ensure these are completed and clearly communicated to publishers according to defined KPIs
  • Collaborate within the Web of Science editorial team to ensure efficiency and consistency of decision making
  • Contribute towards the maintenance and curation of dynamic collections of scholarly journals for indexing in the Web of Science Core Collection
  • Actively participate in team discussions about policy, process, and workflows
  • Keep up with developments in the publishing industry that could influence Web of Science editorial processes
  • Support colleagues as needed in ensuring a smooth handover from content selection to content indexing
