Job Description

We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated and results-driven Public Sector Account Executive (PS AE) to join our UK&I sales team. The PS AE will work to define and execute a territory strategy consisting of existing Public Sector clients and targeted new prospects. This role is hybrid covering account management (growth and retention) along with an acquisition (new business) growth remit.

This is a senior position with the aim of building a vibrant Public Sector vertical business over a 3 year period.

Specifically, you will:

  • Devise a territory strategy for the UK Public Sector vertical delivering short, medium and long term revenue goals
  • Bring your sector-specific knowledge on Health, Central Government, Higher Education IT trends and initiatives to develop a sector strategy for greater DEX adoption
  • Account manage existing large Public Sector accounts in central government and the health sector working at C-Level
  • Drive new business opportunities across our most strategic acquisition accounts, connecting with prospect C-level leaders, influencers and decision makers to deliver DEX outcomes 
  • Understand the challenges your prospective clients face related to digital transformation, employee digital experience adoption within the context of the UK Public Sector
  • Have an detailed knowledge of UK Public Sector procurement policies and frameworks
  • Partner with Nexthink go-to-market teams including MSPs, Technology Partners and Alliance teams to ensure mutual success
  • Leverage your UK Public Sector relationships and expertise to position Nexthink as the choice for DEX
  • Achieve sales goals and targets for assigned territory on a quarterly and annual basis.
  • Aggressively prospect, identify, qualify, and develop sales pipeline
  • Build strong relationships with multiple MSP Program Directors within Government Agencies
  • Work with the marketing team to conduct seminars; trade shows drive revenue growth and pipeline
  • Take a consultative approach with clients by understanding their challenges and future strategies to drive the Nexthink solution within the marketplace.
  • Prospect qualification and the development of new sales opportunities and ongoing revenue growth
  • Sales process management and opportunity closure
  • Ongoing account management to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Close business to exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual bookings objectives
  • Work closely with the Professional Services team to achieve customer satisfaction
  • Sell a complete solution of software, services, and support to ensure customer success
  • Work with Marketing to conduct seminars, trade shows, and other marketing-related events

Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of sales experience closing SaaS based solution opportunities in a UK Public Sector environment
  • You have a proven track record in creating and driving new business and are always looking for ways to grow business through strategic approaches, partnerships and teaming agreements
  • You’ll thrive on working to and exceeding targets and know what it takes to land new business opportunities, that you'll expand whilst developing exceptional relationships and ongoing revenue
  • You have demonstrated excellence in the past as a top performer in your previous roles, and are someone who is highly achievement orientated, both in and out of the office
  • You are motivated by personal development and want to work with the best
