What will I be doing?
As Proposal Executive in a growing team, you’ll have an exciting opportunity to help shape and embed processes. Supporting the Proposal Manager, your efforts will drive efficiency, improve quality, and deliver to the business a high performing proposals function where your contributions will be recognised.
Your key responsibilities will broadly include:
- Leading the end-to-end proposal response process for each assigned opportunity, including writing, editing, and coordinating responses to RFPs, RFIs, and other relevant sales support documents.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams – including sales, pre-sales, product, and other business functions – to gather technical and commercial information and craft responses.
- Being a driving force in managing and maintaining the Loopio content library, working with SMEs to ensure content remains accurate and reliable, and taking ownership and content specialism of assigned sections.
- Leveraging new and evolving content to proactively create, refine, and update standard materials and other Commercial team documentation as may be required, driving team efficiency.
- Developing deep product knowledge over time, to translate complex information into clear, persuasive, and client-focused content.
- Ensuring compliance with proposal guidelines by reviewing submission requirements, tracking deadlines, and delivering polished, on-brand proposals consistently.
About You
Ideally you’ll be…
- Extremely organised personally, and strong at keeping others focused and organised around a project, often in the face of competing priorities.
- An experienced and confident “starter-finisher” who’ll thrive in a busy but supportive team, and take ownership to directly contribute to winning new business through top quality work.
- Resourceful, proactive, and enthusiastic about getting yourself up to speed on technical and company-specific content.
What will set you apart
- Proven experience in proposal management (preferably within the energy, SaaS, or technology sectors) with a solid understanding of RFP/RFI processes.
- Excellent project management and communication skills, and the confidence to collaborate effectively with subject-matter experts.
- Strong attention to detail, and the ability to maintain quality in a fast-paced environment.
- A flexible approach in the face of shifting priorities.
- A focus on continuous process improvement – and the ideas and energy to make it happen.
- Experience of SaaS sales is a plus.
- Proficiency – or the motivation to rapidly become proficient – with proposal management tools (we use Loopio) and Google Workspace for document creation and organisation.
- Fluency in Japanese would be of interest (but is not a key requirement).
