What You'll Bring:

We’re looking for a General Insurance Account Director to join our growing Go-To-Market (GTM) team. 

This is a remote role with regular travel to client sites and TransUnion offices as part of our Flex Together approach.

Day to Day You’ll Be:

  • Develop robust account and territory plans to drive GTM activity and revenue growth.
  • Build and execute stakeholder engagement strategies, mapping TransUnion solutions to client business priorities.
  • Conduct structured discovery sessions with stakeholders at all levels, from C-suite to operational teams, to uncover challenges and opportunities.
  • Create compelling, professional materials to support sales pursuits and client engagement.
  • Lead and orchestrate the full sales cycle, collaborating across functional teams to deliver client value and achieve growth targets.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in areas such as regulatory compliance, fraud prevention, underwriting optimisation, customer experience (CX), and digital transformation within insurance.
  • Negotiate and manage contracting processes between TransUnion and client organisations.
  • Maintain and grow strategic relationships across complex accounts to achieve revenue objectives.
  • Identify market opportunities for new products and propositions, building business cases and championing development initiatives.
  • Continuously evaluate performance against plans and adjust strategies to maximise impact.
  • Engage regularly with clients through formal and informal meetings to strengthen relationships and maintain strategic portfolio insights.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • In-depth knowledge of the UK general insurance market.
  • Proven experience in strategic client-facing roles or selling complex solutions within a full-cycle environment.
  • Strong drive and enthusiasm, with the ability to manage your own portfolio while collaborating on broader market opportunities.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills, both internally and externally.
  • Challenger sales mindset; formal training in MEDDICC methodology is highly desirable.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required.
