The Proposals and Due Diligence Manager is responsible for the end‑to‑end ownership, quality, and delivery of all investment proposals and due diligence responses on behalf of Quilter Investors. This includes RFIs, RFPs, DDQs, and related client and intermediary information requests.
The role plays a critical part in supporting business growth and client retention by ensuring that Quilter’s investment capabilities, governance, and value proposition are presented clearly, accurately, and compellingly to potential and existing clients.
This is a senior individual contributor role requiring strong judgement, investment knowledge, and the ability to work across multiple functions. The role holder is expected to actively shape responses, challenge inputs where needed, and drive continuous improvement, rather than acting as a purely administrative or coordination resource.
Key Responsibilities
Proposal & Due Diligence Ownership
Lead the completion and coordination of RFIs, RFPs and due diligence questionnaires for distributors, platforms and institutional clients
Take full ownership of first‑draft responses, narrative structure and the overall quality of submissions
Ensure all responses are accurate, well‑articulated and aligned to Quilter’s investment philosophy and client value proposition
Support the onboarding of new instruments for Investment Managers by preparing and coordinating required documentation, including regulatory and operational forms such as Ultimate Beneficial Ownership (UBO) declarations
Quality & Commercial Effectiveness
Act as the quality gate for all proposal and due diligence materials, ensuring consistency, clarity and relevance
Apply sound judgement to how Quilter is positioned in response to differing client needs, priorities and commercial contexts
Proactively identify and address content gaps, inconsistencies or weaknesses ahead of submission
Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
Work closely with stakeholders across Investments, Sales, Product, Marketing, Compliance, Risk, Operations and Portfolio Management
Engage confidently with subject matter experts to source high‑quality input and challenge constructively where required
Balance delivery timelines with accuracy, governance requirements and client impact
Content Management & Continuous Improvement
Develop and maintain a centralised proposals and due diligence content library
Capture insights and learning from previous submissions to drive greater efficiency, consistency and quality
Continuously improve processes, templates and ways of working to future‑proof the role
Experience in investment proposals, due diligence, RFP/RFI management, or a closely related role within asset or wealth management
Strong understanding of investment products, distribution models, and intermediary relationships
Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear, client‑focused responses
Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
Confidence in engaging with and influencing stakeholders at all levels
Commercial mindset with a strong focus on quality and outcomes
Proactive and analytical, with the confidence to exercise sound judgement
