Veeva is looking for an experienced Proposal Manager to drive winning responses for our innovative life sciences solutions! You will be a critical partner to the Veeva Europe Sales organization. You’ll project manage the end-to-end proposal lifecycle, collaborating with top experts to craft compelling narratives and responses to RFP/RFI questionnaires that resonate with European and global customers. What You'll Do
- Project manage all RFP/RFI activities from initial receipt through final submission, utilizing Responsive and other enterprise tools to ensure on-time and high-quality deliverables
- Effectively coordinate contributions from cross-functional teams (Sales, Solution Consulting, Professional Services, Product, Strategy, IT Security, etc.) to develop winning responses
- Lead internal response team alignment calls and check point discussions to understand customer needs, confirm scope, identify key differentiators, and guide the team on assignments and timelines
- Draft response deliverables, manage project workflows, and conduct thorough quality checks (including formatting, proofreading, and editing of all proposal deliverables) to ensure accuracy, clarity, compliance, and a polished appearance
- Effectively handle a workload that includes multiple proposal assignments and other team projects, consistently meeting deadlines
Requirements
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English
- 5+ years of experience managing complex RFP/RFI proposal responses within a fast-paced B2B SaaS technology environment
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- International business experience and an ownership mindset, flexible to support global operations across diverse time zones
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), including advanced use of Styles in Word. Expert formatting, editing, and proofreading skills
Nice to Have
- Experience using RFP/Strategic Response Management tools (e.g., Responsive, Qvidian, or Loopio)
- Experience in life sciences proposals
- APMP Foundation Certification
- Fluency in one or multiple European languages (Spanish, German, Italian, French)
