FH&B is on a transformation journey to deliver its five-year growth ambition, with a programme in place to drive sales, profit and operational improvement. As the programme moves through mobilisation, we’re looking for a Project Manager to help strengthen delivery planning, governance, team mobilisation and the Transformation Management Office.

You’ll support the Programme Lead and Transformation Leads to accelerate delivery across FH&B transformation priorities, taking ownership of specific projects where required and helping teams stay focused, aligned and on track.

Working across multiple teams and priorities, you’ll connect with programme teams to understand progress, context and challenges, coordinate updates and support consistent ways of working across transformation initiatives.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a high-impact transformation at a pivotal moment for FH&B, helping create visibility, pace and measurable value across the business.

Due to high interest, this role may close earlier than advertised. We recommend applying as soon as possible.

What you’ll do

Your key accountabilities will include

  • Connect with programme teams to understand delivery progress, context and challenges, coordinating updates and support across FH&B transformation initiatives.

  • Track progress against milestones, risks, issues and dependencies, ensuring reporting is accurate and potential delivery impacts are highlighted early.

  • Maintain and improve delivery tools, templates and documentation so programme teams have practical, consistent ways of working.

  • Produce clear updates and prepare governance inputs that support visibility, decision-making, action tracking and effective escalation.

  • Support programme teams to embed delivery standards, improve ways of working and keep transformation priorities moving at pace.

Who you are

Your skills and experience will include

  • Strong project and programme management experience, with the ability to support delivery across multiple priorities.

  • A confident communicator who can build relationships, influence senior stakeholders and challenge constructively.

  • Calm under pressure, with the ability to drive delivery at pace and keep teams focused on outcomes.

  • Agile, proactive and comfortable working across multiple teams, priorities and changing business needs.

  • Commercially minded, with a focus on simplification, improvement, consistency and business value.

What’s in it for you?

Working at M&S means being part of something bigger - helping to deliver quality, value and service to millions of customers every day. We’re inclusive, fast-moving and always evolving, with a strong sense of purpose and a focus on doing the right thing.

Here are just a few of the benefits that make working here even more rewarding:

  • 20% colleague discount on all M&S products and many third-party brands for you and someone in your household, available once you’ve completed your probation

  • Competitive holiday allowance with the option to buy more

  • Strong pension and life assurance to help plan for the future

  • Tailored induction and training to support your development from day one
