Based –Derby

Hours - 40 (Monday to Friday)

What this job involves:

As a Project Manager at JLL in Derby, you'll be at the forefront of shaping a brighter way for our client Rolls-Royce. In this role, you will Project manage the inspections of all pipework across the UK building portfolio to understand the condition and any potential associated risks.  You'll collaborate with diverse teams locally and across our Rolls-Royce UK sites, embracing innovative ways of working to drive successful outcomes. Your expertise will be crucial in managing our clients expectations, coordinating with stakeholders, and implementing best practices in project management. What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets for associated projects
  • You will coordinate and manage Contractors on site and manage all schemes with regards to pipework inspections.
  • Manage client relationships, ensuring clear communication and alignment with UK market expectations
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, implementing effective solutions tailored to UK regulations
  • Monitor project progress and performance, making data-driven decisions
  • Conduct regular status meetings and prepare reports for stakeholders
  • Champion sustainable and technologically advanced solutions in project execution, aligning with UK sustainability goals
  • The Project Manager is required to manage other projects across the UK including Building Management System (BMS) upgrade, High level building surveys, Crane Safety Alerts and Interceptor Upgrades.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in project management within the UK real estate, construction, M&E or Manufacturing industry
  • Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and project management methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite
  • PRINCE2 Practitioner certification or equivalent UK-recognised qualification
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in the UK context

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with sustainable building practices and BREEAM certification
  • Knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modelling) technology as applied in UK projects
  • Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies
  • Experience in multi-site projects across different UK regions
  • Additional certifications such as APM or RICS
  • Understanding of UK property law and planning regulations
  • Desired but not essential CDM 2015 Regs training certification
  • Desired but not essential SMSTS Site Manager or NEBOSH General or NEBOSH Construction Certification in Health & Safety
