Key Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors
  • Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs
  • Monitor and report on project progress and performance
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Ensure quality standards and project documentation
  • Foster effective communication among stakeholders and the project team
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement

Role Requirements & Skills

Skills / Competencies

Technical Skills:

  • Project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
  • Project management software (e.g., Clarity, Jira)
  • Budgeting and financial forecasting
  • Risk management and mitigation strategies

Soft Skills:

  • Strong leadership and decision-making abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking
  • Time management and multitasking
  • Conflict resolution and negotiation
Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field
  • Certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional), PRINCE2, or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
  • PROSCI or similar Change Management certification highly desirable
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience managing projects, cross-functional teams, and delivering tangible results; experience within the insurance industry highly desirable
  • Demonstrated experience operating in both agile and waterfall project environments highly desirable
