About the Role
This position is a Fixed Term role until December 2025, with potential to extend to July 2026.
At Haleon, we are on an exciting path to redefine our approach to Total Reward, companywide. The Reward Centre of Excellence (part of the HR function) is embarking on a transformation programme to reshape how we work - taking a whole systems approach and reviewing our processes, systems and structure so we can meet our objective to design and deliver reward solutions that unleash the full potential of our people. We’re looking for a credible Project Manager to help us get set up for success.
Working to the Transformation Director, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring all programme workstreams are delivered on time and in budget. Curious, pragmatic and solution-focused, you’ll be an experienced professional who can bring your skills and expert knowledge to effectively project manage across numerous workstreams; ensuring workstream leads keep focus on our end goal, simplifying and automating wherever possible along the way.
Partnering with the wider Reward team, you’ll also need to ensure this programme is synched with other transformation programmes ongoing across HR and the wider company; ensuring consistency of approach and practice with Haleon’s change management methodology and that interdependencies (including resources, order of activities and budgets) are appropriately considered and factored in to project plans.
Key responsibilities

Provide effective project management to stand up and help deliver a programme of transformation workstreams (including IT systems, processes and structural redesign workstreams) across all parts of the Reward CoE; developing and managing detailed project plans and timelines to support workstream leads to successfully execute all deliverables.

Ensure workstream leads are delivering against plan. Track project performance and provide status analysis and updates, proactively highlighting risks and potential mitigations, as well as exceptions and changes, via the Transformation Director to the Steering Group and/or other programme boards, as required.

Manage the agenda and cadence of project meetings and governance, ensuring all relevant stakeholders are kept up to date with project progress.

Accurately manage and maintain the project risk and issues logs, ensuring efforts are co-ordinated and group tasks are completed. Assist in resolving schedule, activity and resource conflicts.

Monitor and manage project budget.

Manage change controls process for changes to scope objectives, deliverables and drive gate readiness – partnering closely with the Transformation Lead and wider organisational Programme Leads to action any outcomes through the broader project teams.

Contribute to process improvements identified as part of the transformation programme.

Support the Transformation Lead with the design and delivery of stakeholder engagement and change management initiatives.
Qualifications and skills
Essential
-
Qualified project manager with demonstrable experience in delivering process improvement, structural change and/or IT system redesign/implementation projects

Comfortable operating in complex, ambiguous and uncertain environments
-
Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels
-
Proficient in project management methodologies and tools
-
High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
-
Ability to use best practice and knowledge to resolve complex problems and issues that may arise during the project lifecycle
Preferred
-
Change management experience and/or qualification
-
Previous experience of delivering projects in a global organisation

Previous experience delivering projects in FMCGs
-
Experience/qualification in Agile methodology

Experience of delivering HRIS (ideally Workday) projects

Experience with using a variety of digital collaboration tools.

Some knowledge of Reward processes and activities would be beneficial
