Job Description

🚀 The Job Mission: Project Manager - Digital

As a Digital Project Manager, you will play a key role in delivering multiple small to medium-sized IT and digital projects that are critical to our business goals. You’ll ensure seamless delivery within Time, Cost, and Quality constraints, while driving collaboration, risk management, and innovation across project workstreams.

Key Responsibilities

⚡️ Project Delivery and Management:

  • Manage the implementation and delivery of multiple projects, ensuring adherence to time, cost, and quality objectives.
  • Develop and maintain Project Delivery Plans to support planned activities.

⚡️ Planning and Coordination:

  • Plan and organise project-related meetings, touchpoints, and activities.
  • Coordinate project dependencies across service lines within the Digital and IT team.

⚡️ Risk and Issues Management:

  • Identify and manage Risks, Issues, Assumptions, and Dependencies, escalating as needed to stakeholders.

⚡️ Reporting and Oversight:

  • Produce weekly project reports and submit them to deadlines, ensuring stakeholders are informed of progress.
  • Provide delivery assurance oversight to ensure project milestones are met.

⚡️ Collaboration and Financial Management:

  • Support the Digital & IT Finance team with project finances.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver key project outcomes.

Qualifications

🛠 Leadership and Communication:

  • Proven leadership capabilities with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to influence and engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

🛠 Project Management Expertise:

  • Experience managing multiple business change workstreams within a multi-million-pound portfolio, ideally in IT technical or functional projects.
  • Skilled in MS Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in Engineering Change Management and IT System Integrations is desirable.

🛠 Industry Experience:

  • Previous experience in nuclear, energy, construction, or manufacturing is highly desirable.

🛠 Personal Attributes:

  • Confident decision-making with the ability to gain stakeholder alignment.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Flexible to work from home or on-site at Bridgwater/HPC, adapting to project demands.
