About us:
Wifinity was founded in 2007 to solve a problem - our armed forces were struggling with reliable connectivity. While living in barracks, often in remote locations, ordering a landline and booking in an engineer just wasn’t an option.

And that problem isn’t exclusive to the military, either. Students living in University accommodation, families visiting holiday resorts, or living in shared accommodation and retirement communities.

Conventional home broadband doesn’t always work for them.

Wifinity is different. We offer the same benefits as traditional broadband, such as super-fast speeds, WiFi, and secure and private networks, but none of the downsides. We even offer Pay As You Go and flexible contracts, so customers only pay for what they need without hefty penalties or long contract terms.

We take the complexity out of connectivity.

The opportunity:
In this role you will be working to support major projects and programmes across our military/defence, public sector, specialist accommodation, or leisure customers.

As the Project Coordinator, you will work with the programme managers and project managers to ensure that we are implementing on time and to budget, as well as suggesting effective solutions.

Key areas of focus:
Joining our Implementation teams, you will be responsible for supporting the projects and programmes in areas such as governance, ordering and buying, and supplier and partner coordination to ensure we complete work on time and to budget.

Your day to day role will consist of the following responsibilities, and you may be required to carry out further responsibilities at the company's discretion:

  • Creation of structured documents and project plans in conjunction with Project Managers, in line with project objectives & timelines;
  • Working with project managers and colleagues across the business to track progress against key deliverables;
    Creation of internal and external reports and dashboards, and attending governance meetings when required to report on progress;
  • Monitor cost tracking against project budgets, including reporting on project spend;
  • Working with various project stakeholders (internal & external) to support in scheduling of project meetings;
  • Supporting project managers in the completion of lessons learned reviews post implementation and manage actions through to completion;
  • Handling customer queries, providing appropriate solutions and alternatives within the expected timeframe and following up to ensure resolution.

About you:
You will be a dynamic, self-motivated professional with the ability to engage internal and external stakeholders confidently in order to get the job done. You value detail and are able to organise and execute detailed plans effectively. You are excellent at working with people and always strive to provide a customer driven approach. We are looking for someone that:

  • Is a good communicator with ability to provide detailed and concise progress reporting internally and to the customer.
  • Has the ability to work under pressure, to tight deadlines.
  • Is proactive and driven, if they see a task that needs to be completed they will take ownership.
  • The ability to pass a DBS security check, or for certain projects a higher level clearance.

Your experience:

  • Proven experience in a project coordinator or PMO type role.
  • An understanding of the principles of project delivery.
  • Very familiar with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to engage and learn the use of new software tools to manage implementations.

It would be nice to also have…

  • Knowledge of the telecommunications industry, especially of internet service providers and managed services.
  • Experience working to deliver in military/defence, public sector, specialist accommodation, or leisure environments.
  • Certifications in programme and project management (e.g. MSP, Prince2) are desirable.

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package which includes an ‘Annual Leave Buy & Sell Scheme’, in addition to a remote first working environment, allowing our employees more flexibility when it comes to the importance of a healthy work / life balance. Please be aware that the successful applicant to this role will receive an offer which is subject to the satisfactory completion of a basic level DBS check.
