Programme PlannerLocation: Farnborough (onsite 5 days per week) Security Clearance: Due to the secure nature of the work and our customer requirement, candidate are required to hold DV clearance

At DXC Technology, we deliver essential IT services that help our customers modernise systems, optimise data architectures, and ensure security and scalability across public and private sector organisations. We are now looking for a Programme Planner to play a key role in building confidence in delivery through robust, integrated programme planning.

As a Programme Planner, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality, integrated programme schedules that provide a single, reliable view of delivery progress.

You will use evidence-based planning techniques to ensure clarity across milestones, dependencies, risks, and overall programme confidence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain integrated programme and project schedules using DXC standard planning tools.
  • Align milestones and deliverables with contractual commitments across the programme.
  • Monitor progress and produce insightful reporting, dashboards, and schedule analysis.
  • Manage baselines, stage gates, and change control in line with governance standards.
  • Facilitate planning workshops and collaborate closely with delivery teams, PMO, and senior stakeholders.
  • Identify and manage schedule risks, issues, and cross-workstream dependencies.
  • Continuously improve planning processes, tooling, and reporting capability.
What You’ll Bring
  • Experience in programme or portfolio planning within complex, multi-project environments.
  • Strong capability with planning and reporting tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, PowerBI, Excel).
  • Knowledge of programme and project methodologies such as MSP, PRINCE2, and Agile.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work collaboratively across teams.
Desirable Skills
  • Professional project or programme management certifications.
  • Experience working within enterprise PMO environments.
  • Exposure to automated reporting solutions.
  • Familiarity with Agile planning techniques.
