Role Overview
The Program Manager (JS8) is accountable for the end-to-end delivery and performance of complex programs within the VM02 customer account. The role ensures alignment between customer business objectives, contractual commitments, and Ericsson delivery execution, driving value, transformation, and operational excellence across multiple projects and delivery streams.
Operating at a senior level, the Program Manager leads cross-functional teams, ensures governance compliance, and acts as a trusted partner to senior customer stakeholders, with full responsibility for program outcomes including financial, operational, and strategic targets.
Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership & Delivery
  • Own end-to-end program execution across multiple projects, ensuring delivery to scope, time, cost, and quality targets
  • Translate contractual agreements into integrated delivery plans and execution strategies
  • Drive delivery excellence, proactively managing risks, dependencies, and escalations in a complex environment
  • Ensure strong alignment between pre-sales commitments and delivery execution

Customer & Stakeholder Management
  • Act as primary escalation point and trusted advisor for VM02 senior stakeholders
  • Build and maintain strong executive relationships, ensuring transparency and alignment on program objectives
  • Lead governance forums, steering committees, and customer reviews
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and long-term partnership growth

Financial & Commercial Accountability
  • Own program P&L, including revenue, cost, margin (unadjusted margin), and forecasting
  • Drive financial performance through rigorous cost control, resource optimization, and risk management
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency and add on sales

Governance, Compliance & Risk Management
  • Ensure full adherence to Ericsson Group directives, legal, financial, and E+OHS requirements
  • Maintain high standards of data accuracy, reporting, and audit readiness
  • Lead program-level risk, issue, and dependency management across all delivery streams
  • Ensure compliance with data security, privacy, and regulatory obligations

Leadership & Team Development
  • Lead and develop multi-disciplinary, geographically distributed teams
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance management to senior project managers and delivery leads
  • Foster a high-performance, accountable, and inclusive team culture
  • Ensure effective resource planning and capability development across the program

Key Skills & Competencies
  • Strong program and portfolio management expertise
  • Advanced stakeholder and customer relationship management
  • Proven financial and commercial acumen
  • Robust understanding of logistics, design and integration services, NPI and trials
  • Excellent communication and executive presentation skills
  • Strong risk management and decision-making capability

Experience & Qualifications
  • Degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, IT, or equivalent
  • Extensive experience managing large-scale, complex programs in telecom or managed services
  • Demonstrated leadership of multi-project, multi-team environments
  • Proven success in customer-facing delivery roles
  • Project/program management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP) preferred
  • Experience within strategic customer accounts (e.g., Tier-1 operators like VM02) highly desirable
