Job Description

Are you an accomplished Programme Manager ready to make a significant impact in a dynamic tech environment? Wavenet seeks a strategic leader to drive the delivery of complex, cross-functional programmes aligned with our business goals.

About the Role

As a Programme Manager, you will turn our strategic vision into actionable plans. You’ll oversee multiple projects, ensuring efficient execution, timely delivery, and alignment with our objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement programme strategies aligned with organisational goals.
  • Oversee and coordinate complex projects across departments for optimal resource allocation.
  • Create and manage comprehensive budgets to achieve cost-effective outcomes.
  • Identify and mitigate programme-level risks and dependencies.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including leadership, project teams, and external partners.
  • Monitor progress using key metrics, providing insights to leadership.
  • Inspire and mentor team members, promoting collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and industry standards.
  • Champion change management initiatives for seamless adoption of new processes and technologies.
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance programme delivery for greater efficiency.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

We seek a results-oriented Programme Manager with a strategic mindset and strong leadership skills. Qualifications include:

  • Education & Certification: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or similar. PMP or equivalent certification is advantageous.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in programme management with a proven record of leading interdependent projects.
  • Methodologies & Tools: Familiarity with MSP, Agile, and Prince2. Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to translate complex goals into actionable plans using data-driven decision-making.
  • Leadership & Stakeholder Management: Outstanding communication skills with experience in engaging senior stakeholders and fostering collaboration.
  • Change & Risk Management: Experience in change management and a strong understanding of risk strategies.
  • Financial Management: Ability to manage and optimize complex programme budgets.
  • Time Management: Excellent organizational skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation and conflict resolution abilities to facilitate effective solutions.
