At Sportradar we’ve experienced a wonderful period of sustained hypergrowth through a highly focused strategy based upon industry leading product innovation. To continue on this trajectory, we’re searching for a Programme Manager to join the Odds Services Team

The Programme Manager is responsible for implementing best programme and project management practices to enable the successful delivery of the right initiatives at the right time, according to product requirements and on budget. 


A key focus will be ensuring the coordination of multiple complex projects across teams and functional groups and business areas whilst keeping key stakeholders up to date on projects status.

Programme Manager is also responsible for implementing programme and project management practices to enable successful delivery roadmaps, monitor performance of the tribe and contribute as a consultant in business, technical and architectural areas.


THE OPPORTUNITY:

  • Ensure the successful implementation of the programme management strategy in an agile delivery context.
  • Define and implement project control and governance, ensuring timely project delivery, adherence to business requirements and budget constraints. 
  • Help shape the required frameworks and standards for delivery management and evolve programme management processes and principles to improve the consistency and effectiveness of project execution; improving predictability and visibility.
  • Provide project planningmilestone managementscope managementresource forecasting.
  • Implement a consistent prioritization process across projects and programmes.
  • Manages stakeholder expectations and moderates discussions about value delivery, risk and complexity.
  • Ensure cross-project dependencies are managed effectively.
  • Ensure efficient change management control methods and processes are in place.
  • Ensure transparent and regular reporting to the key stakeholders to ensure project status is clearly understood and timely decisions can be taken. 
  • Responsible for compiling performance and business-oriented monitoring (OKRs, KPIs).
  • Coordinate retrospectives to distil good practice and ensure lessons learned are.


YOUR PROFILE:

Desired Professional Background

  • Masters or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Economics or similar.
  • Previous experience from Project, delivery or programme management in a high-growth digital company.
  • Proven track record for planningexecutingcontrolling and closing a diverse range of projects (e.g. small/large/complex) and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.
  • Experience of leadingmanaging and developing a software development / engineering team.
  • Experience of project management within AGILE context (SAFe, Lean, Less, PRINCE2 methodology or equivalent) and data mining process (CRISP-DM) for medium to large sized projects.
  • Strong skills in creating and maintaining project plans, delivery dashboards, delivery roadmaps including risks, actions, issues and dependencies.
  • Strong skills in dependency mappingrisk management and resource planning.
  • Objectives and key results and Flight level coordination experience highly desirable.
  • Basic understanding of what it takes to build, run, and operate a production-grade distributed system in the cloud.
  • Managing teams in data science (machine learning or other AI areas) oriented environment is a plus.
  • Desirable understanding or working experience with software in cloud architecture.

  • Influence and leader mentality, being able to bringing the relevant individuals and roles together to solve problems and/or complete projects.
  • Highly proficient IT skills in JIRA, Confluence, PowerPoint, Excel, Word.
