Powering Great Work
We started as the place to find a trusted trade. Now, as we shape the future of home improvement, we're building the tech to transform that landscape for everyone - better products, smarter data, AI where it actually helps - so trades can spend less time on admin and consumers can find someone they trust, first time. That's Powering Great Work, and it's why every team here exists:
🔧 Trades spend less time on admin and more on winning work and growing their business
🏠 Homeowners get a trusted trade, first time, every time
🚀 We get to build products that change homes and lives across the country
As Programme Manager (Trade) in Retention, you'll turn strategy into delivery that actually sticks. You won't manage the teams, but you'll shape how they work, what they work on, and whether the initiatives our Head of Operations is driving make it into everyday practice. You'll sit across the whole of Trade Lifecycle, working with Finance, Product, Engineering, Sales and CRM so the right things get built, rolled out and embedded, not just kicked off.
The job, unfiltered:
Own the delivery of Trade Lifecycle's most critical initiatives end to end, from scoping and planning through to execution and review.
Lead tooling and systems changes across Retention, Credit Control and Trade Support: define requirements, manage timelines and make sure the teams can use the new systems well.
Spot where processes are inconsistent, undocumented or breaking under scale, and fix them.
Run the change management side: stakeholder communication, rollout sequencing, training and adoption tracking, so new ideas don't fade after launch.
Be the senior point of coordination between Trade Lifecycle and Finance, Product, Engineering, Sales and CRM.
Build and maintain the reporting that shows whether strategic initiatives are working, and own the KPI framework for transformation delivery.
The fit:
Depth of experience in a programme, operations or strategy delivery role, ideally in a high-growth tech or marketplace business.
A track record of delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives from design to measurable outcome. Not just managing the plan, but owning the result.
Strong project management instincts: you hold several workstreams at once, spot dependencies before they become blockers and keep senior stakeholders informed without overwhelming them.
Experience leading tooling or systems rollouts in an operational environment, and you understand the change management challenge as well as the technical one.
Confidence with project management tools (Jira, Asana, Monday or similar) and reporting tools (Tableau, Looker, or advanced Sheets/Excel).
(Don't self-select out because you don't tick every box. We'd rather meet you.)
