The Role

Capco is seeking an experienced Programme Manager to join our Business Consulting practice in London, with a dedicated focus on Capital Markets. You will lead complex, large-scale transformation programmes across front-to-back functions, partnering with clients spanning investment banking, markets, post-trade, and market infrastructure.

You’ll bring strategic insight, provide constructive challenge, and drive measurable outcomes in high-impact, client-facing environments. Consulting experience is essential, alongside the ability to operate confidently within complex organisational structures.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of multi-workstream transformation programmes within Capital Markets environments

  • Guide and support matrix teams, including project managers, business analysts, and subject matter specialists across client engagements

  • Partner with senior stakeholders to define objectives, shape delivery strategies, and address complex challenges

  • Ensure programmes deliver strategic value, meeting agreed timelines, budgets, and business outcomes

  • Contribute to client development activities, including proposal development, account growth, and domain-led thought leadership

What We’re Looking For

  • Significant experience leading transformation programmes within Capital Markets (e.g., Front Office, Risk, Operations, Regulatory, Settlements, Post-Trade, or Market Infrastructure)

  • Proven consulting experience delivering large-scale, client-facing initiatives

  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with experience collaborating with senior leadership across matrix organisations

  • Consulting capabilities including structured problem-solving, adaptability, collaboration, and emotional intelligence

  • Experience working across agile and traditional delivery methodologies, with a strong focus on outcomes

Bonus Points For

  • Deep expertise in regulatory change, digital transformation, or operating model redesign within Capital Markets

  • Experience supporting commercial growth through proposal development or account expansion

  • Experience coaching and developing consultants to build both domain and delivery capability

  • Exposure to global or multi-jurisdictional Capital Markets programmes

  • Experience strengthening programme governance, tooling, and delivery frameworks

Why Join Capco

  • Deliver high-impact technology solutions for Tier 1 financial institutions

  • Work in a collaborative, flat, and entrepreneurial consulting culture

  • Access continuous learning, training, and industry certifications

  • Be part of a team shaping the future of digital financial services

  • Help shape the future of digital transformation across FS & Energy
