The Role
Capco is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our Business Consulting practice, with a strong focus on Capital Markets. You’ll work with leading financial institutions across front, middle, and back office functions, helping clients navigate complex change driven by market structure evolution, regulation, data transformation, and emerging technologies.
Operating in a consulting environment, you’ll partner closely with business and technology stakeholders to shape pragmatic solutions, improve operating models, and support the delivery of high-impact transformation programmes.
What You’ll Do
Lead business analysis workstreams across Capital Markets initiatives, from problem definition through to delivery
Translate capital markets domain knowledge into clear requirements, target state designs, and actionable insights
Support business change, operating model evolution, and system or data-led transformation programmes
Facilitate workshops, elicit and document requirements, and contribute to Agile or Waterfall delivery
Present structured analysis and recommendations to stakeholders at varying levels of seniority
What We’re Looking For
Strong business analysis experience delivering change within Capital Markets environments
Hands-on experience across areas such as trading, risk, post-trade, operations, regulatory change, or market infrastructure
Ability to collaborate with technology and data teams to translate business needs into functional designs
Consulting capabilities including stakeholder engagement, adaptability, structured thinking, and clear communication
Working knowledge of SDLC and Agile/Waterfall methodologies, with experience using tools such as Jira
Bonus Points For
Exposure to AI-enabled use cases, advanced analytics, or data-driven decisioning within Capital Markets
Experience working with data platforms, reporting tools, or data modelling concepts
Involvement in operating model design, target state definition, or process optimisation initiatives
Understanding of regulatory-driven transformation (e.g. market reform, risk, or reporting change)
Confidence supporting client workshops and contributing to senior stakeholder discussions
