This role leads cross-functional readiness, business coordination, stakeholder alignment, and transition planning to ensure programmes deliver operational value with minimal disruption.

You’ll work across capital programmes, asset expansion, refresh projects, and operational initiatives, ensuring Commercial, Sales, Operations, Finance, Partnerships and Maintenance teams are engaged, aligned and ready. The role will also identify opportunities to simplify ways of working and exploit AI and automation to improve visibility, coordination, reporting and decision-making across the programme environment.

This is a high-visibility role reporting to the Head of PMO, working closely with the Global Outdoor executive, Transformation Directors, Operations Directors, and senior stakeholders across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead asset charge and out-of-charge processes in collaboration with Projects and Commercial teams to protect sales and support forecasts

  • Ensure systems are updated, campaigns are protected, and operational handovers are smooth

  • Drive business readiness and coordination across Sales, Operations, Finance, Partnerships and Maintenance

Programme Planning & Coordination

  • Maintain programme-level visibility of project plans, target deadlines, and beneficial use milestones

  • Monitor deliverables and progress with Project Managers, escalating risks, dependencies and blockers where needed

  • Develop and embed efficient processes, trackers, registers and tools to support programme delivery and integration

Risk & Dependency Management

  • Lead the collation, management and review of programme risk registers

  • Track impacts, dependencies and mitigations across the portfolio

  • Provide programme-level visibility of risk exposure to senior stakeholders and support effective mitigation planning

Reporting, Governance & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Produce programme reporting packs for steering committees, operational groups and senior leadership

  • Lead business communications and engagement on project progress, milestones and impacts

  • Build strong relationships with the Programmes team and wider stakeholder groups across the business

  • Use data, technology and AI-enabled approaches where appropriate to improve reporting, insight, consistency and efficiency

What You’ll Love About This Role

Think Big: Shape how Global delivers and integrates major transformation programmes across our Outdoor estate.

Own It: Take real accountability across multiple programmes and senior stakeholder groups.

Keep it Simple: Bring clarity, structure and pace to a complex delivery environment.

Better Together: Work alongside a dynamic PMO team and collaborate across the business.

  • Proven ability to work across multiple senior stakeholder groups and drive alignment

  • Strong planning, coordination and reporting skills

  • Ability to translate delivery plans into business impacts, risks and actions

  • High attention to detail with excellent organisational and communication skills

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

  • Interest in using AI and technology to improve ways of working, reporting and business processes
