Hiring Requirements:
- As the PM you lead the trim projects providing the team direction, advice, support and when needed.
- Lead internal and external process changes effecting program management and support the team in understanding and reaching the targets.
- Lead / support OEM escalation topics leading customer discussions to deliver Magna objectives.
- Support strategic discussions for the trim programs with the Magna leadership teams.
- Planning, managing, and controlling all PDP activities, ensuring all deliverables are completed.
- Leading the program team through effective communication and coordination
- Ensuring effective communication and reporting in the OEM system and Magna reporting systems as directed by the Program manager.
- Support / Lead the managing on the project team effectively to meet all customer and internal timing milestones.
- Providing and interface to all internal departments on program specific requirements and external requirements.
- Support / Lead the program planning to meet customer and internal milestones and objectives. Clear tracking of key events needed to drive success into the builds.
- Conducting regular project reviews, and phase and gate reviews in line with PDP.
- Maintain an accurate open issues deck tracking all key team actions with responsible, due date and action for the program.
- Managing change process with PLM, running change meetings with a live tracking system for each PCN/RFC making sure each change is evaluated and quoted correctly with managed timing and full plant feasibility sign off.
- Support Sales department in RFQ Phases where requested
- Maintain good timing plan managing changes and updates for the project
- Support key interface to OEM for escalation issues
- Manage the project escalation and critical issues with communication to the Magna management team as per the red flag process.
- Undertaking any other given responsibilities as a result of operational necessity.
- Ensure compliance to all Company and plant health, safety and environmental work practices and procedures along with legislative requirements.
