Role Description

The Program Execution Manager is the dedicated customer point of contact during the deployment phase of project delivery for Global Strategic Accounts. The role ensures seamless project delivery by overseeing multiple project managers and sites while maintaining high service standards complex project deployments across the EMEA region for Vertiv's major customers. The position requires strategic oversight of project timelines, budgets, and service quality, along with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with both internal teams and external stakeholders. Success in this role demands excellent communication skills, proven program management experience, and the ability to drive consistent delivery across multiple locations while meeting customer expectations and business objectives.

The Program Manager will deputise from time to time for the country Delivery Leader where requested to oversee, manage and resolve issues as required in the deployment phase of the contract

Key Responsibilities

  1. Program Leadership & Strategic Management:

  • Act as primary point of contact for customer senior management
  • Lead and coordinate multiple Project Managers across different EMEA sites
  • Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and escalations
  • Ensure consistent service delivery across regional projects
  • Lead customer engagement forums and feedback processes

2. Project Oversight & Delivery:

  • Monitor and manage project deployments from implementation to closure
  • Ensure projects meet financial, quality, and contractual requirements
  • Coordinate resource planning for current and future deployments
  • Support regional delivery teams in day-to-day operations
  • Oversee project costs and financial reporting

3. Operational Excellence:

  • Implement and maintain project management best practices
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety guidelines
  • Manage International Trade Compliance requirements
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • The role includes temporary travel within EMEA to support Project Deployment for large, complex and Global Sales Accounts

Qualifications

  • Hold a relevant technical qualification at a high level in either a mechanical or electrical field
  • 3+ years of program management experience
  • Experience in critical infrastructure, data center, or power solutions industry
  • Project Management certification (e.g., Prince2 or equivalent) is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
  • Experience with project management software and MS Office applications
  • Proven experience in managing customer relationships at regional level
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Valid driving license

Preferred Experience

  • International program management experience
  • Six Sigma certification
  • Experience managing programs with budgets exceeding $5M
  • Multi-site and multi-region program management experience
  • Vendor and contract management experience
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • AutoCAD knowledge

The anticipated salary range for this role in Italy locality is between  66,565 , 83,206 Euros to  Euros gross per year (based on a full-time working week). Certain roles may be eligible for variable compensation and benefits. Where applicable, a comprehensive overview of the full benefits package and any additional compensation will be provided during the recruitment process in accordance with local legal requirements. Compensation is determined based on objective, gender-neutral criteria, including skills, experience, and job responsibilities.

The applicable National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL) for this role is Metalmeccanico Industria
