The role drives pricing governance, complex deal decisions, demand forecasting, SIOP alignment, win-loss analysis, commercial risk management, and sales enablement through a matrixed organization. It requires strong power-systems expertise, commercial leadership, cross-functional influence, and approximately 30% travel across EMEA.

Provides technical leadership for materials engineering and metallurgical performance in high-density liquid-cooling systems. Defines material standards, approved material lists, and engineering guidance; leads material selection, corrosion and compatibility assessments, welding requirements, validation, and failure investigations. Advises design, manufacturing, quality, suppliers, and leadership while driving standardization, reliability, and risk reduction across mixed-material systems.

Provide HR advisory and generalist support across the employee lifecycle for UK employees: manage employee relations cases, support performance reviews, workforce planning, HR policies, HR administration, payroll data, onboarding, cross-border transfers, HR data/MI, audits, and employee recognition initiatives.

Leads design and execution of liquid-cooling R&D tests, including test-rig design, commissioning, instrumentation, data acquisition, analysis, and validation. Performs prototype assembly, leak and pressure testing, calibration, documentation, and configuration management. Presents technical findings, supports engineering change processes, maintains laboratory and safety standards, and drives continuous improvement for high-density cooling products used in data centers and critical infrastructure.

Lead design and release of high-density liquid cooling (CDU) products. Manage cross-functional global teams, approve drawings and BOMs, drive cost reduction, ensure quality and compliance (ISO/ASME/GD&T/UL/ASHRAE), support procurement/vendor evaluation, mentor engineers, troubleshoot failures, and manage projects from concept through delivery.

Provide complex presales technical support for strategic accounts: review RFx, design configurable datacenter solutions, coordinate with engineering, prepare proposals/tenders, deliver presentations and trainings, manage stakeholder relationships, and represent customer voice to improve Vertiv offerings.

Lead global marketing operations to improve attribution, pipeline contribution, and operational scalability. Drive CRM governance, customer intelligence use cases, AI-enabled automation, and cross-functional alignment with sales and demand generation to accelerate revenue and measure marketing impact.

Lead complex electrical infrastructure projects from sales handover through engineering, manufacturing, site delivery, commercial management, client coordination, and close-out. Manage project schedules, BIM coordination, technical submissions, budgets, variations, procurement risks, logistics, documentation, payment applications, and project reporting while coordinating engineering, production, construction, procurement, and site teams.

Manage service projects from order acceptance through completion, coordinating customers, suppliers, subcontractors, engineers, and internal departments. Own project plans, budgets, forecasts, margins, reporting, technical documentation, risk assessments, and health and safety compliance. Serve as the primary customer contact, attend key site milestones, coordinate engineering resources, improve operational efficiency, and ensure projects meet financial, quality, and delivery objectives. Regular travel and extended customer-site work may be required.

Provides technical leadership for PLC-based control, power, and thermal monitoring architectures. Designs scalable systems, selects frameworks and tools, guides software teams, integrates PLCs, HMIs, gateways, and SCADA with hardware, and establishes validation and compliance practices. Supports sales teams and customers through specification reviews, technical guidance, architecture development, design reviews, and strategic project development.

Manages on-site project delivery and commissioning activities across EMEA. Responsibilities include coordinating installation and commissioning teams, scheduling resources, tracking progress, managing subcontractors and deliveries, reporting risks, supporting quality and safety, attending stakeholder meetings, and driving process improvements. The role requires extensive travel and collaboration with clients, contractors, suppliers, project teams, and regional leaders throughout the commissioning lifecycle.

Design and deliver custom liquid cooling and piping solutions from quote to production. Create rapid concept layouts, refine manufacturable designs, engage suppliers, oversee testing and validation, manage BOMs/PLM documentation, and integrate lessons learned into NPDI standards.

Talent network to register interest for commercial and technical roles across the UK and EMEA. Frequently hiring enterprise and service sales, channel and partner managers, application and technical sales engineers, CPQ and engineering tools specialists, product and PMO roles. Ideal candidates have sales or technical engineering backgrounds, customer-first mindsets, industry experience in data center/power/thermal preferred, and fluency in English (additional European languages valued).

Own product lifecycle for global Busbar offerings: launch and retire products, build business cases, research market needs, define requirements, enable sales with collateral and demos, manage pricing, forecasts and profitability, track post-launch performance, resolve delivery/quality issues, and drive continuous improvement across cross-functional teams.

Lead technical escalation and resolution for Vertiv cooling systems in the UK. Diagnose complex faults, guide field teams, perform root-cause analysis, coordinate with R&D and product teams, maintain customer communication, document solutions, and drive process and product improvements while delivering training and reporting on key metrics.

Lead end-to-end EMEA deployment of Kinaxis Maestro, owning program governance, roadmap, and cross-functional coordination. Standardize demand/supply/inventory/capacity/production/materials planning, ensure master data and ERP integration readiness, drive change management, training, go-live and post-go-live stabilization, and measure KPI-driven business value delivery.
