Group Details

We are seeking an experienced Production Support Engineer to support a high-frequency, low-latency trading platform operating across global markets. The platform supports trading activity across Asia, Europe, and North America, requiring continuous coverage across time zones.

This role involves maintaining system stability, troubleshooting production issues, and ensuring seamless operation across both in-house and third-party applications, with a strong emphasis on leveraging AI to enhance support efficiency and system reliability.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide production support for a high-frequency trading system operating across global markets and time zones 
  • Monitor system performance, identify issues, and ensure rapid resolution to minimize downtime 
  • Support and manage integrations with third-party systems and vendors 
  • Perform incident management, root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures 
  • Design and implement automation solutions using Python and AI tools 
  • Leverage AI for log analysis, anomaly detection, alert correlation, and predictive issue resolution 
  • Continuously improve support processes using AI-driven insights and tooling 
  • Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teams to enhance system reliability 
  • Participate in release support, deployment activities, and system health checks 

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a Production Support / Application Support role, preferably in trading or financial systems 
  • Strong experience supporting low-latency, high-availability systems 
  • Proven experience using AI tools and technologies in a production support or operational environment 
  • Hands-on experience implementing AI-driven automation or monitoring solutions
  • Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and tooling 
  • Strong working knowledge of Linux/Unix environments 
  • Experience with databases (SQL, performance tuning, troubleshooting) 
  • Familiarity with third-party systems and vendor coordination 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Smart Order Routing (SOR) concepts and workflows 
  • Experience working with the FIX protocol (message flows, troubleshooting, session management) 
  • Experience in financial markets or trading environments 
  • Exposure to monitoring tools and observability platforms 
  • Understanding of networking concepts and system architecture

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills 
  • Proven ability to work effectively as a team player
