A senior level role responsible for strategic product direction, detailed functional specifications and requirements, research & development of new performance metrics or Trade Surveillance scenarios and techniques. The role will involve in-depth discussions with clients on emerging industry requirements, and analyzing clients data for any patterns or trends.
Key Responsibilities:

Client Consulting on Execution performance - Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of best execution with the objective of providing regular execution consulting reports to key clients.

Develop an execution consulting template which can be used globally to automate the process and reduce the time needed to produce a consulting presentation

Trade Surveillance Calibration- have a good understanding of all aspects of client trade flows and the Trade Surveillance Alerting and parameters appropriate for the particular clients business.

Perform Calibration reviews for existing clients and produce reports of any recommended changes

Product Management - Develop analytical models that will be integral to the firm’s TCA and Surveillance offerings. Define the requirements of the next generation LiquidMetrix TCA and Surveillance products.

Regularly interact with other departments (Sales, Operations, Client Success) as a key representative for new product development.

R&D - Conduct quantitative research on a wide range of topics relating to trading and surveillance leading to the production of white papers and the R&D effort for new product enhancements.

Sales – Provide support to sales staff where appropriate.
Qualifications:
-
Strong academic record with an advanced degree in math, quantitative finance, or related field

Significant experience with a buy-side or sell-side firm, in a quantitative or compliance role dedicated to assessments of trading activity

In-depth understanding of market micro-structure, with practical experience applying them in a trading environment

Strong quantitative abilities, including product design skills

Solid experience with SQL or other programming languages, and experience of AI techniques
