What’s the role about

As our Product Planning Marketing Lead, you will combine strong trade campaign planning with a commercial eye for how products and categories are presented online to bring our campaigns, product stories and online customer experience together.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will lead the planning and delivery of customer-facing content across our owned and operated channels globally, connecting seasonal briefs, product launches, and brand launches, consumer sales and day-to-day marketing activity.

Working closely with the central Trade teams, Product, Creative, CRM and Ecommerce Trade teams, you’ll turn seasonal briefs into coordinated content and onsite improvements that balance brand expression with trading priorities.

This is a role for someone with an elevated taste level who understands fashion and our customer. You will enjoy both planning and exceptional execution and delivery: aligning stakeholder priorities, shaping the content calendar, using trade data and performance insights and applying brand instinct.

 Who you are

  • You will have significant experience in fashion marketing planning, ecommerce content and digital trading, with the ability to connect campaign delivery and onsite merchandising.
  • You will be an effective communicator, capable of building relationships across product, creative and commercial teams, balancing brand aesthetic and direction with customer needs and trading opportunities.
  • You will have coordinated seasonal campaigns and product launches across digital touchpoints, translating commercial priorities and product stories into clear briefs and joined-up activity.
  • You will possess a deep understanding of how product selection, category presentation, onsite search and testing can support the customer journey, with a keen eye for detail you will use trading data, competitor awareness and content performance to inform decisions.
  • You will be an organised leader, confident managing concurrent launches and weekly content updates, securing stakeholder sign-off and keeping delivery on track.
  • You will have experience supporting and developing direct reports, giving clear direction while helping others build their capabilities.
  • You will be comfortable with ownership of your channel, welcome feedback and bring a collaborative, agile and solutions-focused approach.

What you’ll be doing

  • Planning content and marketing asset rollouts across digital touchpoints, keeping campaign narratives consistent with product story-telling and coordinating seasonal activity, new product launches, and partner and brand launches.
  • Build exceptional working relations with womenswear, menswear and merchandising teams to identify seasonal product stories and featured lines to turn brand and product vision into clear briefs.
  • Keep abreast of changes to product availability and work closely with the Product teams to make adjustments to the calendar where necessary throughout the season.
  • Develop deep brand and product knowledge seasonally to act as the brand guardian for your channel.
  • Brief design and copywriting teams, and partner with CRM on email and App content including ownership of imagery, additional requirements and testing approaches.
  • Lead weekly content sign-off with senior stakeholders, bring together cross-channel launch plans and coordinate weekly website content updates with Digital Design to enrich the customer journey.
  • Accountable for improving product and category experiences using trading insights and analytics to guide product selection and trend-category merchandising.
  • Lead monthly site walkthroughs with womenswear and menswear product teams, working with Ecommerce Trade colleagues to deliver agreed improvements.
  • You will oversee weekly trade meetings so product, content and ecommerce improvements are prioritised against performance and planned activity.
  • Partner with the Trade and Creative teams to balance site optimisation with the Reiss brand aesthetic, and oversee site testing and onsite search optimisation.
  • Attend trade planning meetings, communicate agreed activity to the wider team, and oversee its execution.
  • Coach and develop a team of four, giving them the support and direction to deliver campaign plans and maximise product and category opportunities.
