Accredit Solutions is a market-leading dynamic and rapidly growing software company servicing the major sporting, and event industries. Headquartered in London with offices in the USA, the UAE, and Australia. Accredit works with many of the world’s most high-profile sports clubs & teams, major sporting tournaments, stadiums, and live events, as well as government agencies across the globe.

The ideal candidate for this role as product owner will be someone who enjoys working at the intersection of business, product, technology, and customer operations. You will be comfortable taking ownership of requirements, asking the right questions, working through detail, and helping teams move from idea to delivery.

You do not need to be deeply technical, but you should be confident discussing software functionality, understanding system behaviour, and working closely with developers and QA to ensure that what is delivered meets the intended outcome.

You should also be comfortable working with API and integration requirements. You do not need to be an engineer, but you should be able to understand how systems connect, ask the right questions about data flows and behaviours, and translate integration needs into clear product requirements.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with the Product Team to support the delivery of the product roadmap and agreed product priorities.
  • Owning and managing product requirements from initial discovery through to development, testing, release, and post-release review.
  • Working with internal stakeholders and clients to understand business needs, operational challenges, and product improvement opportunities.
  • Translating business requirements into clear, structured user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation for development teams.
  • Managing and maintaining the product backlog for your work items, ensuring items are clearly defined, prioritised, and ready for development.
  • Assessing new requirements against existing product functionality, workflows, user experience, configuration, permissions, and database structure.
  • Supporting planning and refinement sessions with developers, QA, and product team members to ensure requirements are understood and delivery risks are identified early.
  • Working alongside the Quality Assurance team to ensure delivered functionality meets agreed requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Supporting User Acceptance Testing activity, including preparing UAT documentation, reviewing feedback, and confirming expected behaviour.
  • Creating diagrams, workflows, process maps, and supporting materials to clearly explain current and proposed product behaviour.
  • Helping to manage product releases by supporting release notes, internal communications, training materials, and handover documentation.
  • Working with client-facing teams to ensure new features and changes are clearly understood before they are released to customers.
  • Gathering feedback from users, clients, support teams, and internal stakeholders to help identify future improvements.
  • Supporting the creation and upkeep of system user guides, product documentation, and other user-facing materials.
  • Assisting in ensuring that product changes comply with the company’s security, data protection, and information policies.
  • Keeping up to date with product ownership, SaaS, UX, and technology best practices.
