Location: London Office (4 days a week in the office) 

Hours: Full-time (37.5hrs)

About the role

Reporting to the Director of Product & Operations, this role will play a critical part in delivering Avado’s next phase of growth – shaping and scaling our corporate training offer and leading the evolution of our HR community platform, Avado Connect.
You will own the end-to-end development of products that sit at the heart of our corporate training and community growth strategy – building commercially viable, engaging and scalable experiences that expand Avado’s reach, deepen learner engagement and create new revenue streams.
 
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Ownership & Delivery
•    Own the product lifecycle from discovery through to delivery and iteration 
•    Translate strategic priorities into clear product roadmaps and deliverables 
•    Work cross-functionally with Product, Tech, Sales and Marketing to ship high-quality products at pace 
•    Ensure products are delivered on time, within scope and aligned to commercial targets 

2. Avado Connect (Community Platform)
•    Own the evolution and relaunch of Avado Connect as a scaled community for HR professionals 
•    Define and deliver features that drive engagement, retention and lead generation 
•    Develop a clear value proposition for different audience segments (learners, alumni, wider HR market, enterprise) 
•    Monitor adoption, engagement and conversion metrics; iterate accordingly 

3. Product Development (CPD courses and bootcamps)
•    Lead the build and launch of online CPD courses and live online bootcamps
•    Translate SME input into structured, high-quality digital learning experiences 
•    Ensure consistency in format, quality and learner experience across the CPD portfolio 
•    Work with Marketing and Sales to support go-to-market and commercial success 

4. New Product Innovation
•    Identify and validate new product opportunities aligned to market demand 
•    Run lean discovery – testing concepts quickly and cost-effectively 
•    Build business cases with clear ROI and scalability potential 
•    Support pilot launches and scale successful products 

5. AI & Operational Efficiency
•    Embed AI-enabled tools and workflows into product design (e.g. content generation and learner feedback) 
•    Partner with Tech to integrate tools such as internal platforms and third-party solutions 
•    Drive efficiency gains in delivery without compromising quality 

6. Stakeholder Management
•    Act as the central point of coordination across internal teams and external partners (SMEs, production, tech vendors) 
•    Communicate progress, risks and trade-offs clearly to senior stakeholders 
•    Work closely with leadership to align product delivery to strategic priorities 
 
Key Measures of Success (KPIs)
•    Growth and engagement of Avado Connect (adoption, active users, conversion to paid products) 
•    Successful launch and performance of CPD products (revenue, learner satisfaction, completion rates) 
•    Delivery of product roadmap milestones on time and within budget 
•    Contribution to improved learner outcomes (e.g. pass rates, NPS) 
•    Demonstrable efficiency gains (cost reduction, time to deliver, automation impact) 
 
Skills & Experience
•    Proven experience in a product, programme or content-led role (e.g. Product Owner, Product Manager, Content Manager or similar), ideally within online learning
•    Strong track record of delivering products from concept to launch 
•    Experience working with LMS platforms (e.g. Thought Industries or similar) 
•    Commercially minded – able to balance user needs with revenue and cost considerations 
•    Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving environments with multiple priorities 
•    Strong stakeholder management and communication skills 
 
Desirable
•    Experience building community-led or subscription products 
•    Exposure to AI-enabled product development 
•    Experience working with SMEs and content production (e.g. video-based learning) 
•    Understanding of professional education and the HR landscape (e.g. CIPD or similar professional bodies), including how HR professionals engage with learning and development
