The role

The Product Owner role will see you work closely with our teams, helping to shape and deliver Lenvi’s Riskfactor roadmap. You will report to the Head of Product (Riskfactor) and work alongside and support colleagues who are responsible for our loan management products and our KYC product.

What You will be doing

  • Supporting the Head of Product (Riskfactor) to build and develop a clear Roadmap that is regularly communicated internally and externally and is consistently maintained.
  • Engage with internal departments, for example, Sales, Professional Services and PMO, to understand product requirements and how to maximise business value.
  • Working with internal and external stakeholders to define User Stories and Acceptance Criteria that elaborate the Product Vision.
  • Building long-lasting relationships with clients, aiming to understand their product requirements and gain their buy-in to the product vision and strategy.
  • Owning the Product Backlog, including routinely refining it to ensure it is aligned with the Product Vision/ Strategy and remains current.
  • Ensuring a high standard is set for release notes to complement each release.
  • Helping facilitate User Groups to gain key insights from users and feed these into the product strategies and roadmaps.
  • Providing final product acceptance and making decisions on production readiness.
  • Attending conferences and industry events, support the Sales department at these events and, where appropriate, demonstrate product capabilities in client and prospect meetings.
  • Maintaining an understanding of our competitor’s product offerings and help to ensure that our product strategy enables us to remain at the forefront of global risk management.
  • Identifying opportunities that lead to the growth of Riskfactor through innovation whilst maintaining business goals and priorities.
  • Driving product improvement based on insights drawn from data and a deep understanding of the users of Riskfactor
  • Able to balance competing priorities in pursuit of delivery against agreed goals
  • Help to drive a culture of speed, focus on continuous improvement and innovation to empower teams to deliver fast and accelerate learning

What we would like to see from your application

  • Relevant experience working in a Product Owner role, ideally within a FinTech software company.
  • Demonstrable experience and knowledge of the Receivables Finance sector.
  • Solid collaboration skills across both business and technology stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate directly and clearly, with a strong emphasis on careful listening.
  • Good influencing skills at all levels in the organisation, acute flexibility in a dynamic, ever-changing environment.
  • A proactive problem solver who operates effectively and independently, even in areas of uncertainty and ambiguity.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead and work autonomously whilst handling multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of standard software development life cycle (SDLC) for enterprise software applications.
  • Understanding of scrum framework and agile methodologies
  • A high intellectual capability, combined with commercial aptitude.
  • Having a broad understanding of the receivables finance sector and keeping up to date with key technology trends as well as compliance and regulatory changes within the marketplace.
