Are you a product-focused finance specialist who enjoys turning complex requirements into intuitive, data-driven solutions? We’re looking for a Product Owner – Finance to own and evolve our finance systems, ensuring they deliver maximum value, compliance and efficiency while supporting our strategic goals.
At our firm, you’ll be the bridge between Finance, Compliance, Technology and senior stakeholders, helping shape how our global organisation makes decisions, manages risk and serves its clients.
The Opportunity
In this role, you will:
Define and communicate the product vision and roadmap for our finance systems, aligned with business and regulatory priorities.
Own and prioritise the product backlog, balancing technical requirements, operational needs and user experience.
Collaborate with finance, compliance, technology and vendor partners to gather requirements and deliver solutions that work in the real world.
Drive continuous improvement through iterative development, feedback loops and proactive engagement with users and stakeholders.
Ensure our systems support regulatory compliance and accurate, timely financial reporting.
Analyse product performance, data quality and workloads to identify opportunities for optimisation, automation and innovation.
Act as the primary point of contact for finance product initiatives, providing clear updates, documentation and insight to colleagues across the business.
About you
You will bring many of the following:
Extensive experience with Thomson Reuters Elite 3E, Intapp Time, Narratives, reporting and analytics, and other core Practice Management Systems (PMS).
A legal or professional services finance background (or similar), comfortable with concepts like Work in Progress (WIP) and complex financial data.
Experience using toolkits to develop forms and workflows that drive efficiency and improve user experience in third-party finance systems.
A track record of delivering data-driven, customer-focused digital solutions, ideally using Agile principles and iterative delivery.
Confidence in testing and implementing system updates and upgrades across a global environment, working with senior stakeholders.
Experience delivering end-to-end solutions incorporating data, intelligence, third-party integrations, APIs and access management.
Exposure to working with procurement, security, privacy and risk teams, ideally within a legal or regulated environment.
Strong communication and stakeholder skills – able to engage, influence and inspire colleagues at all levels.
Highly organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple projects at different lifecycle stages.
If you don’t tick every box but have relevant experience in finance systems and product ownership, we’d still encourage you to apply.
What you’ll gain
Joining us means you will:
Have a visible impact on the design and evolution of our global finance systems and how the firm operates.
Work in a collaborative, inclusive, people-first environment where diverse perspectives are valued and everyone is encouraged to contribute ideas.
Access ongoing professional development, including opportunities to deepen your product, data and finance expertise and progress your career.
Partner closely with senior stakeholders, technology, and finance teams, building your profile across the organisation.
Be part of a culture that values curiosity, continuous improvement, accountability and shared success.
Benefit from flexible working practices that support wellbeing and work–life balance.
Ready to apply?
If you’re excited about using your product mindset to transform finance systems and enable better decision-making across a global firm, we’d love to hear from you.
