About Stacks

At Stacks, we are transforming how finance teams run their monthly close. For mid to large enterprises, this is still a manual, painful process that keeps finance teams stuck in spreadsheets instead of doing strategic work. We believe this needs to change.

Our vision: with AI, we are reimagining the monthly close to be as simple as a single click, delivering accurate, detailed financial insights on day one of every month. By giving finance teams their time back, we let them focus on the work that matters.

Our team brings together finance, product, and technical expertise from Uber, Plaid, Google, Deloitte, and EY. Based in Amsterdam and London, backed by top-tier VCs and leaders from Stripe, Netflix, and OpenAI, we are just getting started.

About the Role

Stacks is hiring its first Product Marketing Manager. This is a foundational role: you will own how we tell the Stacks story to the market.

Our product is deeply technical. It automates financial close workflows that accountants and controllers have done manually for decades. Translating that into clear, compelling messaging that resonates with buyers is one of the hardest and most important jobs at the company right now.

You will work closely with product, sales, and leadership to build the positioning, content, and sales enablement that turns product innovation into pipeline and revenue. If you have strong product instincts, high standards for craft, and want to define the narrative of a category leader in AI-powered finance, this is the role.

🧱 What You'll Do

Own Product Positioning & Messaging

  • Define and maintain core positioning for Stacks across personas: controllers, CFOs, accounting leaders, and finance operations teams

  • Write and refine messaging for the website, product pages, sales decks, and launch materials

  • Build competitive positioning: know the landscape and articulate why Stacks wins

Ship Product Launches

  • Own the launch process end-to-end: from product release to coordinated campaign across website, email, social, and sales enablement

  • Produce product demos, walkthrough videos, and explainer content that show the product in action

  • Work with engineering and product to understand what we are shipping and why it matters to customers

Build Sales Enablement

  • Create battlecards, objection handlers, one-pagers, and competitive intel that AEs and BDRs use daily

  • Partner with sales to understand what is working in conversations and what is not

  • Arm the team with the right story for every stage of the sales cycle

Drive Customer & Market Insight

  • Run customer interviews and synthesise findings into positioning and content

  • Build a library of customer stories, use cases, and proof points

  • Track the competitive landscape and keep the team informed on market shifts

🧩 What You Need
  • 5-8 years of product marketing experience in B2B SaaS, ideally at a technical product company

  • Track record of owning positioning and messaging that moved the needle on pipeline or revenue

  • Strong portfolio of work: previous launches, launch assets (landing pages, videos, emails, sales decks). We will ask to see it.

  • An active LinkedIn presence with quality content and a growing audience. We want someone who already builds in public.

  • Excellent writer. Clear, concrete, persuasive.

  • Deep curiosity about product and technology. Comfortable going deep on how things work.

  • Experience building sales enablement materials and working closely with sales teams

  • Self-directed. You identify what needs doing and do it without waiting for a brief.

  • High bar for craft. You study the best product marketing and hold yourself to that standard.

  • Experience in fintech, accounting software, or financial services is a plus but not required

🚀 What’s in It for You
  • First product marketing hire. Define the function and the narrative.

  • Work directly with founders and leadership on the highest-leverage marketing work at the company.

  • Collaborate with world-class colleagues.

  • Shape how a category-defining AI product goes to market.

  • Competitive compensation and meaningful equity.

  • A beautiful office in the heart of London.

🤝 The Hiring Process
  • Step 1: 30-minute call with Peter (Talent Partner) to discuss background and motivation

  • Step 2: 45-minute interview with Albert (Founder & Hiring Manager)

  • Step 3: Take-home assignment + on-site presentation at our London office

  • Step 4: Team interviews: 30-minute conversations with Naman (Founding Product), Irina (Founding Marketer), and Farid (COO)

  • Step 5: Offer
