We’re reinventing payments.
In less than four years, Dojo disrupted the market to become the largest and most loved acquirer in the UK. Our payments infrastructure, purpose-built for in-person commerce, is game changing.

Now, over 150,000 customers across four countries choose to transact billions with us every year.
But we’re just getting started.

Our people are the driving force behind our success. They are our greatest investment and our ultimate competitive advantage. We hire exceptional people and give them the autonomy, trust, and ownership to thrive. The results take care of themselves.

The Role...

As Product Manager for Authorisations, you'll own a broad part of Dojo's payments stack across both in-person and online. You'll be accountable for how we authorise payments, how we optimise authorisation rates, how we expand payment method coverage and how we make sure merchants can accept any payment method, anywhere, always, both in-person and online. You’ll be responsible for not only building beautiful payments products that our customers love, but ensuring merchant adoption, performance optimisation, reliability and the product P&L.

You'll work across Dojo teams to identify the biggest opportunities to add value to our customers and run with them. Some of that will be payment infrastructure, some will be innovative new features and payment methods that unlock new verticals.

What you will do...

  • Shape the Authorisations roadmap: Collaborate with Lead PM, engineering, and business partners to define product strategy and a roadmap that aligns with Dojo’s growth ambitions.
  • Drive new payment method acceptance: Identify opportunities to expand the ways merchants can accept payments, including emerging methods and regional preferences, supporting broader merchant success.
  • Improve authorisation performance: Lead initiatives to optimise the authorisation rates and resilience of Dojo’s in-person payments.
  • Drive ARR: Work with commercial and analytics teams to explore how authorisation and foreign exchange capabilities can deliver incremental value, for our customers and for Dojo.
  • Lead cross-functional delivery: Partner with engineering, analytics, design, operations, and risk to move product work from discovery to delivery, ensuring quality, measurable outcomes, and scalability.
  • Use data to inform decisions: Define success metrics, use data insights to validate hypotheses, prioritise with clarity, and iterate based on feedback and performance.
  • Champion the customer: Keep Dojo merchants at the heart of every product decision, balancing customer needs with technical and commercial constraints.

What you will bring...

  • Product experience: 3 to 5+ years of product management, ideally in online payments, fintech, commerce infrastructure, or a similarly technical and commercially complex domain.
  • Merchant/customer focus: Deep empathy for merchant needs and a passion for building products that simplify complex problems.
  • Analytical mindset: Strong comfort with data to inform decisions, define metrics, and evaluate the impact of product work.
  • Cross-functional leadership: Proven ability influencing without authority and driving alignment across engineering, design, operations, and commercial functions.
  • Execution excellence: Track record of delivering high-impact product work from discovery through execution.
  • Clear communication: You make complexity feel simple and can articulate priorities, trade-offs, and product rationale clearly.

Dojo home and away

We believe our best work happens when we collaborate in-person. These “together days” foster communication, drive innovation and spark our brightest ideas.

That's why we have an office-first culture. This means working from the office 4+ days per week.

With offices across Europe, we know a thing or two about staying dynamic. Need deep focus? Head to a quiet zone. Big ideas? Collaboration spaces have you covered. Just here for a catch-up? Our social hubs make it easy. Do work that counts, in spaces made for you.

Question: what’s curious, relentless, and customer obsessed?

If you’re keen to know the answer, you’re a third of the way to meeting our Dojo values.

If the following speak to you, let’s talk:

  • You’re curious. You have a real desire to learn and create.
  • You’re relentless. You keep going even when it’s easier not to.
  • You’re customer-obsessed. You know how important customers are to what you do.
