Retire the ERP.

Light exists to replace factory-era ERPs with software that feels alive. Our Smart Financial Platform gives modern, global companies superpowers—automated accounting, real-time reporting, and financial flows that move at the speed of the business.
We build with our customers, ship fast, and obsess over craft. In a short time, Light has gone from idea to the operating core for leading companies like Lovable, Legora, and Keyshot. People don’t just use Light—they enjoy it.
We’re an early team defining a new software category. Think engineers who love debits and credits, designers who care about reconciliation states, and operators who treat finance as a product. If you’re excited to modernize how the world runs money—one workflow at a time—you’re in the right place.
Backed by world-class investors and advised by industry titans, we’re building category-defining products with the freedom to ship ambitiously and own outcomes.
Come help us make Light the global default for next-gen finance.

The Product Manager role

  • Owning product strategy and execution for a core area of Light — from 0→1 to scale.

  • Turning complex financial workflows into intuitive, AI-powered experiences.

  • Partnering with Engineering, Design, and Data to ship beautiful, high-impact products fast.

  • Translating ambiguity into structure — defining clear priorities, metrics, and direction.

  • Working directly with CFOs, controllers, and finance teams to uncover insights and shape new automation.

  • Making crisp, high-quality decisions — balancing velocity, precision, and impact.

You’ll thrive here if you…

  • You move fast, think deeply, and take ownership.

  • You have a founder’s mindset — equally comfortable with spreadsheets, sketches, or specs.

  • You thrive in structured chaos and get energy from solving hard problems.

  • You want to build a category-defining product with people who expect excellence.

Your qualifications could be:

3–5 years of experience in one or more of the following:

  • Founding or operating at an early-stage startup

  • Management consulting (MBB or equivalent)

  • Investment banking, private equity, or strategy roles

  • Product/Engineering/Design in a high-growth startup

Your traits

  • Exceptionally structured thinking — you cut through complexity fast.

  • Strong analytical instincts; you think in systems and numbers.

  • Clear communication and crisp written thinking.

  • Bias for action — you’d rather test than theorize.

  • Curiosity about how finance, automation, and AI intersect.

Bonus points

  • Experience in B2B fintech, accounting, or payments.

  • Exposure to automation, data-heavy products, or ML-powered workflows.

  • Working cross-functionally in small, high-output teams.

  • Technical fluency — you can talk APIs and workflows with engineers.

💡 You’re known as a force multiplier — adding clarity, speed, and structure everywhere you go.

Tips to stand out

  • Show how you’ve created clarity or structure from scratch.

  • Share examples of real outcomes — not just shipped features.

  • Walk us through your decision frameworks and tradeoffs.

  • Quantify your impact — adoption, growth, efficiency, or time saved.
