📍This role is based in Copenhagen, Denmark, and requires relocation. We'll support your move for the right hire. The one requirement: eligibility for a Danish work permit

At Factbird, we're redefining how manufacturing runs. By combining hardware, firmware, cloud, and AI, we turn raw production data into real, measurable impact on factory floors around the world. This is a product built by and for people who understand what happens on the shop floor. We’re on a mission to make it easier and faster for manufacturers to work smarter to increase productivity and eliminate waste.

For this mission we're building fast, scaling with purpose, and solving problems that matter. Now, we're looking for three strong and experienced additions to our Product Management team, who want to bring our product into the future by expanding upon how we create real value on the factory floor.
The position product management plays at Factbird is both high-impact and also hands-on. As a product manager here, you’ll set direction, own the roadmap, and drive execution from idea to launch and beyond. You’ll play a key role in shaping how our platform scales and how our customers succeed.

About the role
You’ll work closely with a dedicated development team, your peer product leaders, and you report to the Director of Product. Each role has its own specific focus, and we will ask you, when you apply, to share which focus area spoke the most to you and aligns the closest with your experience.
We're looking for three strong and experienced additions to our Product Management team
  • Production Insights: As a key platform application the candidate requires a strong PM backbone with a focus on having built products that communicate complex datasets and provide actionable insights to different user groups. To succeed in this role, previous experience from manufacturing industries is a key differentiator for us. Whether you have stood on that shopfloor and owned its numbers yourself or have worked for manufacturing and know exactly what "real value" means to the people running a production line – we take “knowing our customers” very serious for this particular position.
  • Platform and Integrations: The focus as PM in this role will be on expanding our platform to cater for growing customers and markets, while creating meaningful integrations within our industries software ecosystem. Solid understanding of building future-proof and scalable platforms with lightweight integrations (API, MCP, etc.), connectivity, administration, and credential control is therefore key. Working closely together with the tech team, you need the ability to quickly learn and understand our clients workflows and tech environment, to prioritize platform development with the highest business outcome in mind.
  • HW/FW and Data Capture: This role is ideal for a structured PM that has previous experience closely collaborating with HW/FW teams and partnering with a senior technical lead on shaping the roadmap, combining technical requirements with business priorities and opportunities. Steering the hardware life cycle while making sure we have control of our deployed fleet is part of the job. You will work with technical leads expanding a system that can seamlessly capture data from devices in the field and inject it into a cloud platform requiring knowledge about connectivity, networks, protocols and integrations in the IoT space.

Key Responsibilities
  • Turn strategy into shipped products: Define roadmaps, prioritize ruthlessly, and work closely with stakeholders to ensure we solve the biggest problems our customers are facing.
  • Lead across disciplines: Act as the glue between product, firmware, cloud, UX, and business stakeholders - making sure everyone is aligned, focused, and moving fast.
  • Identify signals in noise: Clarify customer needs, outline their jobs to be done and translate findings into clear and concise user stories.
  • Spearhead continuous discovery: Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to gather key insights.
  • Launch, learn, iterate: Drive product launches, gather customer feedback, and continuously evolve features based on real-world usage.
  • Own performance & outcomes: Define and track key performance metrics aligned with product objectives.

About you
You have experienced first-hand how a shop floor is operated to ensure targets are met and continuous improvements are realized. You thrive in environments where ownership is high, pace is fast, and impact is visible. You're comfortable making decisions with imperfect information and love turning complexity into clarity, because you've had to do exactly that on a production floor before.
You are curious about technology and are keen to figure out what it enables for people who live and breathe shop floor realities every day. You care deeply about understanding the underlying problem before working on a solution. You want to build products that drive real value, something customers depend on, not just move on to the next shiny thing.

Requirements
  • Solid Product Management Experience: You are well-versed in product management frameworks and agile processes and can bring them into play with a practical approach, leveraging frameworks where they create clarity, structure, and speed.
  • For the “Production Insights focus”: You've worked hands-on on the shopfloor for a while. You've been accountable for ensuring performance meets expectations by collaborating with the likes of operators, process engineers, continuous improvement leads, and plant or operations managers. This operational depth is what lets you translate real production pain into product decisions, and it is a hard requirement for this specific role — without it, the rest of the role is very difficult to do well. Our products play an essential role in manufacturing operations, and your experience within this field is essential.
  • A continuous discovery mindset: You talk to customers constantly, map their jobs to be done, and identify commonalities. You're comfortable sitting with ambiguity until the real problem surfaces.
  • Strong data and analytics instinct: Comfortable working with data and understanding how to turn analysis into concrete actions.
  • A natural communicator: You speak the language of engineers, designers, operators, and leadership alike, adapting how you communicate to whoever's in the room.
  • Driving teams: Proven ability to set and agree direction and goals with R&D teams, driving the team and getting to results in a manner where the team feels proud of the outcome.
