About The Team

You’ll be joining the JD.com team, which values collaboration, ownership, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

JD.com is seeking an experienced technical product manager to join our growing technology team in Europe and focus on creating and extending retail services and products for JD.com operations in European countries such as the UK, Germany, and the Netherlands, France and more. You will have the opportunity to work with teams across multiple domains including business partners, product design, software development, platform, retail applications and beyond. You will enjoy our operation in Europe and China in a dynamic international environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Building strong operational partnership with teams across JD.com and identify key business and product opportunities and commerical needs.

  • Act as the key product contact for business partners, ensuring alignment on objectives, priorities, requirements, and delivery expectations.

  • Own and priotize product roadmaps and release milestones in line with customer, commerical and business objectives.

  • Coordinate reqruirements, dependencies, timelines and deliverables across teams in multiple domains.

  • Establish a clear ways of working, governance and communications.

  • Identify and manage risks, dependencies and issues related to third-party collaborations and integrations.

  • Work with cross-functional teams to shape and implement product and service strategies for our global markets.

  • Innovate on new product and technology capabilities for enhancing experience, improving efficiency and optimising operational cost.

  • Conduct analysis on user insights, industry trends, and data analytics to optimize the user experience.

  • Enable business initiatives and support decision-making by balancing user-centric design with machine learning and AI capabilities.

  • Facilitate workshops and working sessions with stakeholders and partners.

  • Work onsite in London, UK.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of recent experience in product management within European e-commerce.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Product Management, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Strong analytical and communication skills to effectively collaborate across various teams and leverage data for decision-making.

  • Professional working proficiency in English.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale consumer applications (e.g., apps with over 1 million daily active users).

  • Experience working across multiple regions and in multicultural environments is preferred.

  • Knowledge technical development in e-commerce platform.

  • Effective communication skills in Chinese or German is a plus.
