This is Adyen

Adyen provides payments, data, and financial products in a single solution for customers like Meta, Uber, H&M, and Microsoft - making us the financial technology platform of choice. At Adyen, everything we do is engineered for ambition.

For our teams, we create an environment with opportunities for our people to succeed, backed by the culture and support to ensure they are enabled to truly own their careers. We are motivated individuals who tackle unique technical challenges at scale and solve them as a team. Together, we deliver innovative and ethical solutions that help businesses achieve their ambitions faster.

Product Manager  – In-person Payments Platform

In-person payments at Adyen power the in-store experience for the biggest brands. As this solution is growing exponentially, we’re looking for a Product Manager to join the IPP Platform stream.

The Platform team focuses on building, enhancing, and maintaining Adyen’s In-Person Payments terminal fleet management solutions such as:

  • Remote device management infrastructure
  • APIs and webhooks for automated device management
  • Customer-facing fleet management portal
  • Integrations with third-party logistics providers

In this role you will:

  • Actively engage with customers and other Adyen teams to refine the product roadmap and identify new opportunities for innovation.
  • Define, prioritize, and deliver multiple strategic projects to enhance Adyen’s products while aligning with the company’s goals and ambitions.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, data analysts, commercial teams, and customers to drive the success of your projects.
  • Manage incoming requests from other Adyen teams, using critical thinking to prioritize, defer, or postpone them, while clearly communicating the rationale behind your decisions.
  • Develop a clear vision for the products you own, establishing yourself as a domain expert and staying updated on the latest industry trends.
  • Act as an Adyen advocate, effectively pitching our products, new features to existing and prospective customers to boost adoption.

What you need to succeed:

  • Knowledge - You have a good understanding of the software development process from planning to release, as well as the important role of testing in this process.
  • Mindset - You have an entrepreneurial mindset and don’t sit around and wait until things happen by themselves.
  • Adaptability and creativity - Plans and conditions always change, but you still  navigate through any weather with a positive and constructive attitude
  • Relationships - You enjoy working with colleagues ranging from developers, data analysts and engineers, to operations and commercial teams, and feel comfortable speaking with our merchants & partners.
  • Curiosity and technical affinity - You are motivated by challenges, a quick learner with outstanding analytical skills, and unafraid to dive deep into complex technical subjects.
  • Experience - You have 4+ years of experience in the product management domain, along with relevant experience in IoT, mobile device management, or hardware fleet management.

Our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion commitments

Our unique approach is a product of our diverse perspectives. This diversity of backgrounds and cultures is essential in helping us maintain our momentum. Our business and technical challenges are unique, and we need as many different voices as possible to join us in solving them - voices like yours. No matter who you are or where you’re from, we welcome you to be your true self at Adyen.
